The last two years have brought unprecedented levels of change: positive or negative, it’s all moving at an alarming speed. The global pandemic has instigated a wave of mental health crises that we are only just beginning to understand. Over the past three years alone, workplace burnout has increased so dramatically that the World Health Organisation has reclassified it as an ‘occupational phenomenon’.
It’s a familiar feeling – we can all think of someone with spiking anxiety, struggling with depression, or finding it hard to connect. At least, the pandemic has forced us to look directly at the global mental health crisis, and now we need the tools to help the millions of people struggling.
You probably know how it feels – statistically, all of us will need support with our mental health at some point. Sometimes we need to pause and reflect. Perhaps we need to calm ourselves, or find inspiration, creativity, or hope.
That’s where Light comes in. Our aim is to help people expand their capacity to deal with the everyday. Not just at work, but at home and beyond.
We know everyone’s journey into wellbeing is different – and that’s why Light provides a huge variety of ways in. Different things to try, alongside your team, to help you sit more comfortably with yourself. So many of us experience stress, anxiety and depression because we find it hard to be alone with our own thoughts – so we fill our time with distractions. Light helps you pause, tune in, and get to know yourself better.
