Light Rider lets you control your DMX lights without needing to program anything. Choose from over 15,000 lighting fixtures and once added, they will bounce, chase, ride, sparkle and perform a light show like you’ve never seen before!
Built on over 25 years of DMX lighting control experience, Light Rider finally puts a great light show into the hands of a working DJ, who might not have the time to spend hours programming scenes before a show. Carefully crafted by Light Rider’s developers and DJs - Move FX are on the left, Color FX on the right, Flash FX in the middle and presets along the bottom. Ride your FX live with the speed, fade, fan, size and shift controls. Sync with the music using Beat Tap and audio Pulse analysis* (available soon).
Light Rider supports 1 DMX universe (512 channels) with iPad via WiFi. To connect the app with your lights, you can use:
-Any Nicolaudie Group Ethernet - DMX interface (e.g. Sunlite Suite2-FC, Daslight DVC4-GZM)
-Any Art-Net device (In-App purchase)
-Our brand new Light Rider Wi-Fi DMX interface

iPad DMX Controller
This app has potential but a step in the right direction for controlling Dmx lighting. The art net device I used to connect was the ADJ MYDMX go. At first it did not connect until the software update. I used the profile builder since my devices were not the in the library. It took a bit to learn the right way to create the profiles so the profiles matched with the settings of Light Rider. Overall not a bad solution for entry level DJ Lighting. It’ll be nice to see this app mature and get more love from the r&d department of nicolaudie.

Not usable without internet access
If you purchase the in-app Art Net license it can only be used if you open the app while connected to the internet. Then you can connect your Art Net device via WI-FI. If you close the app and reopen it again while not connected to the internet (because you are connected to your Art Net Device) the app will not recognize your purchase and you will have to log back in to the internet to restore your purchase in order for the Art Net connection to work. If you are at a remote venue without internet access the app can not be used.

DMX for Dummies!
Yup, pretty much does all the time consuming DMX programming for you and saves you countless hours of making a specific scene or effect with your light show. As a wedding DJ I find this very helpful to use with my Airstream DMX Bridge and control my lights with an iPad. Definitely worth using and I highly recommend it.

App crashes every time I open it
Have a brand new iPad 9th gen and have the art net package unlocked and crashes every time it loads. Will not recommend. Have reached out to the developers and have heard nothing back at all. Would not purchase again until they fix it

Seems nice
App seems great, and they have great videos, but really need to enable to have some type of method to have a trial of this using an in app purchase. Other apps seem to use Apple’s method of trial’ing, why can’t they?

Beware if you intend to use another art-net device
This app seems like a good idea, but if you intend to purchase the license for art-net in the app, you may be in for frustration. My app will not recognize the purchase and neither apple nor this app developer will do anything about the $130 charge or the license I cannot use because the app refuses to confirm and update.😡😡😡

Waste of my $129
I bought the arc net so I could use on my ADJ Airstream Bridge..connects but I set lights and they keep going to a default spin no matter what I do...might work well with other DMX devices but don’t waste time on Airstream Bridge...now I’m out $129
