Description
Interactive 360° videos provide an immerse experience, decide whether to look up at the majestic Gothic ceiling, or catch a glimpse of the decorative stonework walls, as you are directed on a virtual tour through spaces within the cathedral.
Interacting with augmented reality 3-D models, use a swiping action to create live architectural sections and better understand the cathedral’s unique structural makeup.
Combining laser scan data (with millimetre precision) and storytelling, this project was created and curated through a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and Lincoln Cathedral Connected, with support from the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.
