2 GAME MODES
● 24Hour game mode: This game mode gives you 24 hours to respond whenever it is your turn. This game mode gives you the freedom of playing whenever you have a few minutes to relax and enjoy some Line 'Em Up
● 60Second game mode: This game mode gives you 60 seconds to respond whenever it is your turn. This keeps the game going at a steady pace and adds the challenge of beating the clock or losing the game.
■ THE RULES
- The rules of Line 'Em Up are simple, the first player who creates two rows of five chips wins the game.
- At the beginning of the game each player is dealt seven (7) playing cards. These cards will represent your options of placing chips on the board. The starting player selects the card they wish to play and then selects one of the locations on the board that matches the selected card. A new card is automatically drawn from the deck, and it is now player 2’s turn. The players now take turns placing chips and creating rows.
- When a row of five chips has been created, the row is locked for the rest of the game.
- There are a few ways to make it easier for you to get a row, or to stop your opponent from getting one. As you may have noticed Jacks are not depicted on the board.
- The blue Jacks are wild cards. Selecting a blue jack gives you the ability to place a chip on any of the free spots on the board. These are often used to either block your opponent from getting a row or to finish a row of your own.
- The red Jacks are a bit different. Selecting a red jack gives you the ability to remove one of your opponent’s chips (unless it is part of a locked row). This is often used if your opponent has previously blocked your row, or if your opponent is close to getting a row.
- A faster way of getting a row of five chips, is to use one of the corner chips. These chips count as one of your own, meaning you would only need to place four chips out from a corner to get a row. Another option is to utilize one of the locked chips from a previous row, to create a new one.

Developer responded quickly to my concerns. Very impressed with accountability & changing rating to 5 stars. ————————————————————— I really enjoy this game but I have two issues that prevent me from giving more stars. Both issues are costing me credits I paid to actually PLAY the game. 1- in spite of doing updates, I am still experiencing the glitch that ends the game after only one sequence has been completed. In some games, I might complete a sequence and the game continues but the competitor wins upon their completion of a single sequence. It appears that if both players did not update, the glitch is there. 2- often I start a game but the competitor NEVER plays a single chip then times out. I feel I should get my credit back on those occasions. How do I know it’s not a bot just making me use a credit for a game I never got to play? If it really is a player just timing out without a single move, I shouldn’t be penalized a credit.
Update: played a few games where opponents get multiple turns? Last game, opponent had 34 chips on board compared to my 18. Obviously no way to win in that scenario. Took a screenshot. What is happening?

Lost current games, friends list, 1v1v1, & not compatible with phone
Initially rated 3 stars because I lost access to my friends who haven’t updated yet, and it seems totally unfair that any player should have to choose between their “updated” friends and their “not updated” friends. Lowered to one star because 1v1v1 is no longer available and because updated app is not compatible with my phone. I had multiple daily games against my friends and losing the ability to play as a group is a serious detriment. And it’s not compatible. I have an iPhone SE from 2018 and the app is very difficult to navigate with a smaller screen so I’m annoyed I had to update. Why did I have to update if the app wasn’t even going to compatible with my phone? I feel like there are supposed to be additional options visible under “start game” but I can’t see them because my screen is small AND I can’t scroll. This is an accessibility issue. My Sequence app was way more functional for me before it updated. Help, please.
Edit: bumping up stars because developer seemed really interested in fixing the bugs in the support chat, and that makes me more optimistic, but it’s gonna take a little bit before the app has my trust back. For all I know, the next update might be even less compatible with my phone.

I have been emailing to get an issue done since there is a glitch in my sequence app account hoping I can at least get an answer and try to get it resolved since I have been spending money for this game but still no answer and unsolved. I pretty got hooked getting badges and so I work for it and spends money but with this glitch I got in this game, this affects in earning my badges and it just gets so frustrating coz I been seeing this null that crashes my game every time! I have mentioned and emailed about this 6 months ago and I just can’t stand it anymore that I started emailing again and I still get no answer. This might be the end of this sequence game for me after I finish what I paid for this month! No point of spending money and not get what u deserve to get!

Fun but there’s glitches & A TON of ads
I enjoy playing the board game in general so I was happy to see that there’s an app for it. The set up of where the cards are is different from the actual board game.
I like how the game makes it so you can play with your friends and strangers as well. I appreciate the 1 minute and 24 hour options as well.
I don’t really mind watching ads to get the coins and stuff or even every once in awhile but recently the ads have gotten ridiculous. That’s why I’m docking so many stars off rating because of how often I have to watch a 30 second ad just to play a few moves. Quite annoying.. sometimes I’m in a 1 minute game and playing a move on another 24 hour game when the ad appears. Also there’s been times where I’m playing a game and I’m not able to place anything down all of a sudden and end up losing and wasting my time because of it. There’s a few games that won’t disappear off my current games either so this keeps adding up cuz it doesn’t show up as complete. It’s fun but there are a bunch of glitches and ads.

Frustrated
I’ve enjoyed playing this game until recently. Suddenly I can no longer add new games. I try to earn 1 new game and it keeps stating it can’t open the ad. I have game invites I can cancel (red X) but not accept (green plus is grayed out). I purchased a new pack thinking it would give me 10 new games. Pack, however, only provides one game. I’m truly frustrated with the new release.
Update: I still love playing the game but when things don’t go right, you get no response. I’ve tried using the contact within the game and e-mailing Nikolai directly. It’s been weeks and still no response. I currently have a draw game that still sits in my “current games” with a clock on it looking like it will expire and give someone a loss soon. I just lost a different game and it doesn’t show in my game history. If the games work great, it’s fun. But if there’s an issue recently, you get no response. Good luck!

Game is great, but the ads!
The pretty game is great. Its really a very nice implementation. I really don't mind ads in games, the ones I'm getting hijack the screen AND frequently the audio too, which is all kinds of no good. The Full screen ads require user intervention to stop, but the 'X' to close them is of course way too small and often positioned on the very edge of the screen. The real frustration comes from the ads the hijack the audio. I listen to a of podcasts and when the audio gets hijacked and I click 'play' on my headset, music starts playing instead of whatever podcast I was just listening to. So annoyed. Absolutely makes me quit playing. Totally eliminates any chance I would ever give money to those advertising like that. It seems like you can have less intrusive ads that pop from the top or bottom when you're waiting for your opponent. I want developers to make money but they need to moderate the impact those ads have n the users.

Just over the last couple of days, the ads have been so numerous (literally after each play) and so long, that it hinders the game play. I was okay with some ads and would even pay for a version without ads, but I just can’t play with the ads popping up after each turn. I just tried to submit this in the “contact us” section, but after 10 minutes of trying to verify and having it tell me my name was I correct, I gave up. Please fix the overwhelming number of ads and / or offer a paid no-ad version.

Recent updates changed the experience
I used to love this game even if I wished that the board would look like the regular sequence board. However, following the recent updates I am no where nearly as excited with it.
First of all it is no longer possible to have have another screen/video playing at the same time in a small. Any time you make a move the small screen stops playing and you continously have to turn it on yet again. That used to never be an issue. Furthermore when it is not your turn your cards are faded and you can do nothing with them till your turn is up again. You used to be able to prepare your next move by already getting that card ready for the move which is quite nice given a 60 second game.
All in all it used to be a 4 star for me and now it is down to a 2 star maybe even 1 as for the time being I don’t enjoy playing it.

I really WANT to love this game
Unfortunately, I’m encountering two issues — one is the fault of the developer and one is the fault of other players.
First, I just went through a series of seeking people to play sixty second games with me. I tapped “searching for a game” six times in succession to no avail — clearly no one is available right now. Unfortunately, each search cost me a credit. When paying money for credits, this is a huge demotivater for continuing to support this game with real money.
Second, I’ve encountered a lot of people who time out of the game just before I’m about to win (when it’s obvious that is the outcome). These non-win wins cost me both fake cash and stats. It’s an annoyance even though that in itself isn’t enough to keep me from playing, but paired with the above problem is likely to ensure I won’t buy further credits.

New Update is a Disappointment
I love playing sequence and this app was great before the latest update. They now have ads and the annoying part is that they pop up randomly; I will hit the board to place my piece and then the ad pops up. It now costs a chip to play any game. Before it only costed a chip to play 60 second games. And now, when the other player doesn’t make a move after the time runs out, it says that I lost the game, even though I was waiting on the other person to make the move. Lastly, the placement of the board is weird now. The chips are partially on the board and part of the cards in my hand are cut off on the screen. Oh and the app crashes on me from time to time. That has never happened to me before, it’s only happened after the latest update.
This was my favorite app to use and now I’m considering deleting it. I really hope y’all fix these issues.
