We’re back with a big new update, here are the main details!
Bingo
-Bingo now has its own section along with a new-look Bingo machine that draws balls. You will no longer need to play Bingo after each game of Lingo!
-Draws are made using a new currency called Bingo Tokens that are obtained through normal gameplay
-All Bingo numbers now have an additional reward behind them when stamped off. These rewards go into a Line Case that you receive when the Bingo line is complete.
-We have an additional Reward Meter that fills each time you use a Bingo Token giving you even more nice prizes!
Chests
-Chest timer requirements have been removed from the game, All Chests will open automatically when obtained.
-Bronze Chests for completing a Bingo line have been replaced by the new Line Cases
-Silver and Gold chests will continue to be obtained from their usual places

Excellent version of game show
Like most game show apps these days, you play a quick round for stars/treasure chests and the like. It’s a nice recreation of the game show, including the bingo element the current UK version doesn’t have. (This app is from the currently running UK version of “Lingo”). I do wish I could pay a small something to get rid of the ads, they get very annoying, very fast.

Performance Issues
Well… if you played the old computer version from the GSN website years ago, you’ll be very disappointed and bored. You have A LOT of time to guess the word… one time I mistyped and because it “didn’t accept the word,” I lost and it gave me the word plus I lost my turn. That’s lame. Out of the 100+ times I’ve played, only three times have I not gotten the word, but I was very close. I chose to watch the ad to have an extra chance, and AFTER watching the ad, it wouldn’t let me take the extra turn! It just said sorry that I had not guessed it. What is that about? I’ve watched the ad to get the 10 minutes of unlimited tickets, only to also have to watch ads between words… I’m deleting the game. It’s way too slow for me, which makes it boring. The words are way too simple. I shouldn’t be guessing almost every word on the third try. Make a tougher version for people who actually have more than a second grade vocabulary, and it may actually be fun to play.

Timer too long
Part of what makes the show interesting is the fact that the contestants have to make quick decisions before the 10-second timer goes off. This app, however, gives you a VERY long time to pick each word. I wish the timer were adjustable or would get shorter/harder as you level up. I also agree with everyone else about the excessive ads. I like the game itself enough that I’d probably pay to remove the ads, if given the option.

Awesome game
It is more than annoying to have bingo pop up after every lingo game. I simply close out the game and then re-start to avoid the entire thing. I HATE BINGO! It’s the only reason I don’t suggest Lingo to my friends who play other word games.

Fun game, intrusive ads
This could be a great app - the game itself is fun and the features add incentive to keep playing. But every two rounds of play is an ad, and one that requires you to tap multiple times to move past it. Extremely intrusive and repetitive, and since each round doesn’t take very long to play, it feels like you are just constantly viewing ads. Not worth it for the amount of actual play time you get.

Fun, but could use some tweaks
I used to watch the game show back in the day and was pleased to see it is offered as a mobile game.
I have a few suggestions for better gameplay:
1. Auto fill the first letter when typing an answer. It is cumbersome to have to type it in each time.
2. Allowed to change user profile. It’s very odd that a user is automatically assigned a random name without the ability to change it.

Pros & Cons
There are pros and cons to this app. I love the Lingo portion. I could do without the bingo portion and definitely do without the ads. TOO MANY ADS!!!! This game has ads that 1. Are about 30 seconds long AND there are ads after each play of lingo and bingo. Sometimes you get stuck with two ads in between each play. I understand why they have ads but after each play is excessive. I’d rather pay a small fee to get rid of the annoying overkill ads.

Good Idea, Bad Execution
Similar to other reviewers, too many ads. Word list is small and you’ll notice when words start recycling (though I suppose the 4- and 6-letter options could help with those concerns). The Bingo aspect is a bit dull and unnecessary. The only plus is you can often X out of the ads before they completely run. Would prefer an app you can pay for without ads

I would pay to remove ads
I like this game, but the ads are too frequent and annoying. I would pay to remove them, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. Also, it’s annoying to be taken all the way back to the main menu after each word is solved (or not).

Didn't ask for bingo, ads are excessive
The bingo part is not needed. The ads are excessive I find myself closing and reopening the app just to avoid watching the ads. Even when you watch the ad to get unlimited play for 10 mins, it feels like half of the time to play is eaten up by the ads you have to sit through despite just watching a 60 second ad to get the 10 mins.
