Simple Yet Important
Organization is extremely important to our production team. This new app provides just that, simple organization. From planning small projects to packing for a trip, Landon and his team have thought this through. Our team is based out of Birmingham, AL but being amitigation company, we never know where a major disaster may happen. Many times, we end up in areas that have no electricity, water, or any type of stores. So creating an app that allows us to make a list, check off that list for gear we need to take makes it so we forget nothing when going to places where we can’t just get in into a store to pick up forgotten gear/supplies.
One of the things I’m really looking forward to seeing with the Pro Version is the ability for shared list. That way we can create list that can be worked on simultaneously, seeing completed tasks in real time.
We’ve just downloaded this today and have already begun using it for small projects we have going on this week!

Super easy, fun, and clean way navigating through!
This app does a beautiful job at demonstrating what each section is meant to be used for, as well as walking you through how to understand what their respective parts are meant to have you do. It’s like you have a friend walking alongside you explaining and showing you the process of how this app works - as you go about it.
The little cartoon dude too is an awesome touch 😅
I really like how everything is so organized and compartmentalized 🙌🏼 Because of that, this will be my go-to app for each new project from now on. No more having a mix between physical paper and opening the notes app for me 😅🙏🏼

Easy to navigate, clean layout, SUPER helpful!
I have a shoot coming up next weekend and I just downloaded this app at the perfect time. Been following Landon for awhile so I was stoked to see this production/planning app come out to help me on my shoots & projects. I’m a graphic designer and appreciate how clean, user-friendly, responsive, and aesthetically minimal this thing is. No fluff to it, not complicated to learn, but I love how detailed and intentional Shotlists is! I’m very excited to continue using this on more projects. Highly recommend downloading this and utilizing all the features (especially the mood boards!!), on your next project 😄🤘🏼

The app walks you by the hand...
Organization. Period! It’s one of those things that I never really took into consideration at first. Especially since there was no app like this one, for me, it was like, “meh, I’ll learn later,” and when later came and I was filming all of these projects for different clients, I was running around like a chicken with no head!!
No! Get organized since the beginning. This app basically walks you by the hand and shows you how to stay organized. Maybe if it would’ve existed back then I wouldn’t have skipped learning to get organized. Five stars hands down.

Declutter Your Brain & Let Your Creativity Flow
I have used a lot of apps for project management, especially when it comes to creating a ShotList & this app is more than that! In the short amount of time I have been using it I have been able declutter my brain & flow creatively! Other apps make me feel like I need to have every detailed figured out & then put those down in the app rather than having prompts that increase my workflow!

I love the fact that you can get very specific with this app as fas as what kind of shots you taking , where , what time , pre production , editing and post production ! I love the editing section because it helps me pretty much finish the project without me even starting it by writing my vision on that section. Also ( I’m not a beginner ) however I would love for this app to have like a walk through tutorial for beginners that way they don’t get lost even thought it’s pretty self explanatory but it doesn’t hurt anybody. Other than that I love this app.

I wish when adding items into the packing list, that it wouldn’t kick you out of adding an item forcing you to have to then click the PLUS button again and doing so for each item.
I wish there was a brief tutorial of how to use the app as it seems like there is the correct way and the not correct way to use the app. Instead of allowing the user to use the app in a way that fits their style.
However, overall I think this is a great app that just needs some practice using.

Organization on another LEVEL
I’m a huge fan of systems to help plan and organize what I love to do to make it even easier to spend my time shooting and less worried about the details. Shotlists really delivers on a user friendly and easy set from having all you gear set up in the app to adding them to projects and go as far as having a mood board which is a need for every shoot! Love this app and would recommend you download and test for your self!!

A Creative Necessity
I was just watching the Apple event thinking “they really need to start adding some productivity features for photographers / videographers” and coming across Shotlists - my prayers have been answered! From gear documentation to project management, this is exactly what I was looking for to help my creative business stay organized and to keep me prepared for every gig. Shotlists is intuitive, clean, simple and effective. I’m more than excited to see how much my workflow improves!

This is way more than I expected!
I downloaded this app thinking it was like Notion but specifically for shooting! Turns out that’s exactly what it is but way more sophisticated! I’ve had this app for less than a day but I can already tell it is now going to be my primary app. Overall super easy to use and the features make it extremely easy to read and understand when they are in lists.
