Worth the unlock fee
It is not a flashy game and it doesn’t have a whole lot of variety or even randomness. However, it is worth the $3 unlock if only to not have to watch ads every 5 minutes. The puzzles are fairly basic, but there have been a few challenges along the way. It took me about 5 hours of play time to get to the 9x9 grid. I’m about halfway finished with it and hope to complete the game tomorrow. Suggestion for the dev: get rid of the locked dots. They make the puzzles too easy to solve. I think to myself sometimes...man this would be hard if I didn’t have these first few dots to eliminate a couple of shapes. That for me would give the app more clout and certainly replay ability. Overall, good job. Make that change and add in randomizing shapes or a daily puzzle and it will be outstanding.

Good Logic Puzzle
This is a great game for logic puzzle enthusiasts. Simple tap controls, easy to erase and move, simple scoring scheme. I find this easy, even in the difficult levels, but entertaining enough to keep going. I haven’t needed to use a hint and currently have 66, so can’t comment on that. I love that you can gray out squares- this makes solving much quicker.
I would like to see a TIMER with scoring related to time to solve. That would make it more challenging and fun for me.

I’m glad I started with Dots 2
I’m glad I started with Dots 2; at the time I didn’t even realize it was a 2. I just downloaded the Dots and the second is so much better than the first; if I went the other way I’d have given up on Dots before ever going to Dots 2. The user interface is a lot better in Dots 2. I like puzzle games and this one is a good concept; the big issue I have after paying $3 to unlock Dots 2 is the limitation of levels. The number of puzzles doesn’t justify the cost. Save the $3 and just watch the commercials.
The developers need to add more levels rather than more versions. I like the Flow Free puzzle games; there are now 4 different varieties each of which have hundreds of puzzles. They all also do new daily puzzles. They to are also $3; they are a much better bang for the buck. If this designer could get a similar volume of puzzles this would be a definite 5 stars.

I’m on board...
...with everyone else. I’m glad I’m not the only one who had this opinion. This game is wonderful and I love having to pass time. Except now, I’ve got 7 hints and need 15 hints to unlock the next pack. Which means either fork out some money or watch 8 ads for 8 hints. I should get a hint for having to watch all the ads in between the puzzles! It’s usually 1 or 2 ads followed by a “unlock ad free for 2.99?” I can see how this would drive off other players.
That being said it’s still a wonderful game. I would love to see a “slide” feature to lock the blocks and not a “double-tap”. Having to do that to 16 blocks or more just seems tedious sometimes.

Nice copy of the Paint It Back game
This game seems nicely done and well polished except for the occasional crashes for no obvious reason. It's irritating but not irritating enough for me to take the time to bother opening up a case and sending a bunch of info over only to be told that "someone" will look into it and get back to me if any more info is needed. Nah,...I'll keep my 20 minutes.
For those of you who don't know and like this concept then I suggest you try out a game called Paint It Back. It's almost the exact same concept except you get to "paint" pictures so it's more satisfying at the end. I love that game so this game is well liked by someone like me who enjoys puzzles.

Now that I turned my IPhone off and restarted it, it reset and that infuriating ad is gone so my rating of your game just went up by two stars. I LOVE this game. It’s one of the best logic games I’ve tried and believe me, I have tried many of them. It keeps my attention and the ads are short. I recommend it highly to anyone q

Very well made!!
This is a great puzzle game. All levels can be played for free (save your hints). Adds only pop up every 8 or so levels so they hardly interrupt gameplay once past the first or second set. It’s a logic puzzle with its own twist. Logic puzzles have been around since before video games were created so it’s definitely not a copy of any other game. Awesome work, keep it up!

Ymmv. Personally, I tried out about 20 levels, most of them in the “hard” set, and I realized I was still waiting for the game to get interesting.
The background music is nice, the type of puzzle is new, it’s aesthetically pleasing, as far as I can tell it’s not buggy or anything. And I appreciate the payment model — free with ads, or pay a small one-time fee for extra content and no ads.
It’s just that it never took me more than a couple seconds to figure out how to solve each level, once I understood the rules. And because each puzzle is so small, it’s not even useful for just zoning out and playing a while. It’s a couple seconds of play, a couple seconds of win screen, repeat.
If the same company makes an app with a different type of puzzle that’s more challenging, I’d be willing to give it a try.

Not free for long
I played through the first two level packs and didn’t use a single hint but the third pack takes 15 hints unlock and I’ve only got 14. And now I’m expected to watch a video ad to get more free hints. No thanks, I’ll just stick to flow free where I don’t have to save up to play new levels.
And actual gameplay feedback: the one thing I couldn’t stand was having to double tap every time to X out a square. It would be much more efficient to have a mode switch button and then just single tap each square.

Take away the shapes bar!
This game is a lot of fun but they really ruined it by showing what shapes are supposed to be in the solution. At first I tried to ignore it but when I finished a puzzle and it wasn’t moving on to the next, I realized I HAD to look at the top and see what shapes are supposed to be in it. This is really frustrating as sometimes I’m just looking at how the shapes fit into it and not actually trying to puzzle out the numbers.
Please give us the option to remove the top bar with the shapes in it and let us figure it out on our own!
