Fun... if it loads
Hi I love your app, and love logic puzzles. I like that there is a time to beat, but that you can take as long as you want to solve the puzzles. I really love some of the quotes said by the Einstein character, very inspiring! I downloaded this app a week ago or so, and I bought one of the extended packs. Everything was going great, and I was enjoying it fully. However, since this last update, I am having difficulties loading the game. It has the initial screen up with a message that comes up saying “loading puzzles, please wait.” No matter how long I wait, it never moves from that. I shut app down, restart, same thing. Sometimes I can open the app up and it loads everything instantly and plays fine. But more often than not, I am running into this loading problem. I just shut app down and restarted 20 times, waiting a little bit here and there, and it’s just not loading right now. I’ve tried restarting phone, no difference. I shut down other open apps and cleared my cache (something that seemed to help once before), and still no progress. What’s odd is it seems like it’s in the game, but not showing me anything besides this screen because I’ve tapped on it and then I got an apple store pop up asking me if I wanted to buy a puzzle pack. I’m on a 6S iPhone (still works great! ;) Please fix so I can rate higher!

Favorite Logic Game
I really enjoy this App for my daily logic puzzle fix. I’ve played so many different ones, and some can be very confusing, worded poorly, not give sufficient clues to solve the puzzle, etc. Some don’t fill in the “X” in the remaining boxes when you mark the box you believe to be correct, and without those X’s, it’s very hard to see where the puzzle is going, so thank you Logic Daily for automatically filling them in! 👍 Your puzzles are fun, challenging, and generally solvable, even if sometimes I have to take a guess between 2 “possibles” to proceed.
One improvement I would like to see is the category name added to the Top/Sides to help with solving. For instance, a puzzle with Captains and 1st and 2nd Officers just has names listed, but you have to also figure out, and then remember, that Jo is a Captain and Suzy is a 1st Officer…makes that a bit annoying. Solvable, but annoying. The other thing, for me, is adding friends. Would like to do that, but Facebook as the only way? Is there another? As it is, I haven’t been able to add any friends. But that’s just a minor thing. Overall, I really enjoy your App! Thank you so much 😊

This is one of the best logic puzzle games I’ve played. It gives you a lot of games for free and the ones you buy aren’t a lot of money. All the games are solvable. Some are harder but there is a hint button you can press to get a hint. The only thing is you have to watch an annoying video before you get a hint, and you can’t get two hints one after another. I find it better to take a guess with a clue that is either/or, and then check it with the check button. If you’re right, it will say no errors but if you are wrong, it will highlight the wrong answers. You just have to hit the check button again to erase the wrong answers. You can even replay games if you want to. I usually ignore the Einstein character since I find him annoying. Overall this is a fun game to play.

I really like this game. I’ve been trying to do logic puzzles for a while and this is the first app where I’ve enjoyed doing them. The other apps I’ve tried are all too complicated, ad-filled, or flashy. The Einstein character has enjoyable Souter and tips but isn’t so obnoxious that you have to look at if you don’t want to.
My two issues:
1. Getting a hint,there is an option to get a hint after watching an add. Nice feature that you don’t have to pay for. However it is not made clear that getting a hint adds time to your clock also after using a hint one time, the game seems to lock hints unless I restart.I can appreciate not wanting to give out too many hints at once but if there is some kind of lockout, or timer I would really appreciate some indication of this.

Pretty fun but not five stars.
I love doing logic puzzles and do them all the time at home so I know what to expect. This app is fun and there are some good puzzles but I really dislike how they don’t tell you important info you may need. For example, if a logic puzzle is going to put in “Mr. —“ or “a boy wore purple” they usually tell you which name belongs to which sex. Most of these puzzles are made in England and have English names and dishes, and some of us who are not from England don’t know Basil is a boy’s name or if a certain dish has beef or not. Also, if you complete a puzzle but do not watch the entire ad after, the game erases your progress for your game. I understand if the game has ads but to erase everything you did because you didn’t watch an ad is insane. I do like the app though and I wouldn’t mind paying for other packs but $2 for 20 puzzles seems a bit much to me, especially when you can get an entire logic book for $5 with 100 puzzles in it. I’ll probably end up deleting this app when I finish all the free puzzles.
Also, with the new update that came out today (May 9th, 2018), things are zoomed in really strange for the iPhone X. I’m not deducting this from the app score but it is a current issue.

Great app but buggy
Been a fan of this app for most of the last year and recommend it highly to all fans of grid logic puzzles, but knocking off one star for two issues: 1. My puzzle progress gets wiped out every two or three days and hitting the “Restore Purchases” button as the FAQ advises rarely does anything. My completed puzzles usually reappear on their own within 24 hours, but this issue frequently interrupts gameplay at random moments. 2. There are a few errors in some of the older puzzles - and they really are errors and not just me misunderstanding a clue because some puzzles cannot be completed unless you intentionally click the wrong button - e.g., five XXXXXs in a five-box row where there should be at least one correct answer. Still, a fun experience otherwise, and it’s not fair to complain too much given how much enjoyment it’s given me. I do so many of these puzzles a day and beat the clock more often than not but I’m still a long ways off from finishing the sets available through the (very reasonable) subscription.

Pretty decent
The puzzles are fun but the actual process of marking has some bugs. To mark a square incorrect you tap it once, to mark it correct you tap it twice, and tap it three times to remove it. Sometimes I will select the wrong square so I will try to clear it and that’s when the “bug” happens. Obviously the square marks correct before clearing. When it marks correct, then all other squares in that row/column mark incorrect. Sometimes they then don’t clear. Typically, this is because that square is supposed to be marked correct….but you don’t actually know that yet. Sometimes that’s not the case though and then in order to remove all of the incorrectly marked spots, you have to select them all so they are all marked “correct” and then select all again so they all clear. However, sometimes not all of them will clear or the last will clear but will cause a random square to change to incorrect….
Really not sure if ANY of that makes sense. It’s probably more so something you have to see…

Solid Puzzles, Frustrating UI
Full disclosure: I am writing this review to access the last pack that doesn’t require a purchase. I’m always skeptical when apps put content behind a request for a review, as it feels a bit like a trap or trick to get quick 5-star reviews, rather than honest input. For that reason, this review will be my honest opinions and probably on the longer side.
I’m definitely enjoying this app, and check in every day for the new daily puzzle. The clues make sense, and the tap vs. double tap controls feel intuitive.
My only qualms are:
1. I wish there were more puzzles available that weren’t behind a paywall— rather than showing ads unprompted at the end of every puzzle (or maybe in addition to it, though I can see that feeling like too many ads), perhaps have a “Watch An Ad for Another Puzzle” option. Still generates some revenue, and gives those of us without the means to purchase the packs a way to enjoy the app for longer. As it is, I don’t honestly know how long a puzzle a day will feel worth keeping on my phone.
2. When tapping to clear a previously green square, I’d like to see the dependent red squares also clear. At the moment, it’s a working-backwards process to figure out which red squares were from which clues, and it gets muddy quickly.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with this app, and I enjoy what I can get out of the puzzle per day.

I wish there were more puzzles available that weren’t behind a paywall— rather than showing ads unprompted at the end of every puzzle (or maybe in addition to it, though I can see that feeling like too many ads), perhaps have a “Watch An Ad for Another Puzzle” option. Still generates some revenue, and gives those of us without the means to purchase the packs a way to enjoy the app for longer. As it is, I don’t honestly know how long a puzzle a day will feel worth keeping on my phone.
2. When tapping to clear a previously green square, I’d like to see the dependent red squares also clear. At the moment, it’s a working-backwards process to figure out which red squares were from which clues, and it gets muddy quickly.
Otherwise, I’m very happy with this app, and I enjoy what I can get out of the puzzle per day.

Enjoyable Game
I really enjoy this game and after watching a few tips on the website am doing much better at completing them! However, my lack of 5 stars is because sometimes the tips are really confusing and you have no idea what it’s even referring to! My other complaint is (and it’s been mentioned in other reviews) that on Apple app, I can only watch one hint. After I watch one, it is not available again until I completely close the app down and come back. I also really like the feature to be able to check your work, but wish at least one of those was free (without taking time away from you) although the time to complete doesn’t seem to be as important to me as it might be for others!
I also wish there were more puzzles because I seem to be going through them pretty quickly! There especially aren’t many that you don’t have to pay for!

Hints are WRONG!
I love doing logic puzzles before I go to bed because it’s very relaxing to me. I’ve had this app for a few years and have recently noticed that when I click to watch a hint, I’ll make it through the video and receive my hint, but the hint that they give you is incorrect, so your whole puzzle ends up wrong. So I waste 30 seconds off timer on the hint, and then I have to waste another 30 seconds by checking all my answers to be sure that they gave me the correct hint, which most of the time they don’t. This is very frustrating to me as I usually can’t make it past all the instructions more than one time without getting a hint because I don’t feel like I have enough info, and it keeps me from getting relaxed because I’m irritated lol.
Otherwise, I love this game. I have spent money for no ads and have purchased multiple extra packs. I will keep playing but I do hope they fix this issue.
