The upgrade is terrible. I've been playing this game for years, and now it's so frustrating I'm looking for a different app.
The pause button is right below the color selection palette, so I keep pausing the game.
When I couldnt solve a puzzle I used to be able to select .reveal solution. and move on to next puzzle. Now I have through the whole puzzle selection process. Then, when in complete the new puzzle and click next, it throws me back to the puzzle I couldn't solve previously - EVERY time! Then I have to go through the whole selection process AGAIN!! I agree with all of these issues, AND I wish it would just keep the current game on the screen, instead of forcing the selection process.

Frustrating upgrades
I have been playing this game for many years and have always loved this game. I've been avoiding upgrading to recent versions because of the poor reviews after each upgrade. I finally upgraded and was so bummed to see that you could no longer hold the "x" button (or whatever color filled in the spots that you determine to be blank in the puzzle) to have the game automatically fill in rows/columns which you have fully solved. It's really annoying having to draw in the x's when clearly you've already solved certain rows/columns. Please bring that feature back! I know it seems petty but the removal of that feature has ruined the game for me.

Great Game
I loved the old version but am not as wild about it since the update. The pictures are good, but don't have the high quality of the old ones. It's still the best picture logic game out there.

Enjoyable but
I have been playing this about two weeks now and really enjoy it. Used to do this activity on paper, but like it better on line. Two concerns however. 1. The puzzles that are shades of black are not doable. The shades all look alike and yes I have tried adjusting brightness and contrast on my iPad. 2. Which leads to a second concern. When I finish a puzzle and click next it goes back to the Undoable puzzle every time. Then I have to chose home, yes exit puzzle, then remember which pack I am in, at what level and if I am doing b/w or color. There should be a way to just go straight to the puzzle list I am working in and scroll to the next puzzle.

Great game, great value
This game is a lot of fun. The controls are very simple. And it's addicting, plus you don't need to be online to play. The packs are at a great price, and you get a ton of puzzles.

One of the best picross user interfaces. The puzzles are abundant and cheap! one suggestion: please move the pause button as it's easy to hit accidentally where it is.

Positives - best graphics and most colorful of this type. Love the look of the boxes. A TON of games for 0.99, vs 3-6ish for 20 puzzles for my other fav. I do wish that a double tap could set an x in the box., and a third would make empty, etc. I like that there is a way to mark guesses (will be great for newbies). Going back to the page with continue and options should include a choice for picking a different puzzle. There are a lot of free puzzles, at all levels, too.
Beware that changing options quits the app (both iPhone and mini) after one or two changes. Second, it's about impossible to play bigger levels on the iPhone.
Note: I only write long reviews for apps that I like. Great job, developers!

Please release new puzzle packs - I need my fix! :)
I love this game and cannot wait for some new puzzle packs to be released (I've already bought all of the existing ones). It's extremely well done with a lot of variety compared to similar apps. The puzzle packs are extremely reasonable in price ($.99) which assures that you will never become bored. I agree with the previous review that there should be more puzzles with color, but a great game nonetheless.

When you complete a puzzle, it puts the time next to it so that you can see that it's already been solved. However it gets very tedious to scroll through the entire list. Therefore the developer put an option in there to not display solved puzzles. Only thing is, it's not very reliable. Puzzles I've already completed keep popping up again in my list, and I keep accidentally opening the same ones time and time again. Very annoying.

I contacted the developer and he says the glitches are an iOS bug that he cannot workaround. Maybe iOS 7.1 will fix the problem.
He also said that anytime the puzzle loads incorrectly, that it actually is correct but that the screen just needs to refresh. To force it to refresh just rotate your device to landscape and then back to portrait and it is fixed.
