Description

Now, smart home control is within everyone’s reach.

Use Logitech POP to set the scene with lighting presets, Sonos favorites, and more. Use a single, double, or long press to control smart home devices—individually or in groups—or turn Harmony Activities on or off.

Quickly and easily set up Logitech POP Home Switches from your iphone. To get started, the POP app scans your home Wi-Fi network to find compatible devices you can control, such as smart lights, Sonos music players, or smart locks. Once devices have been added to a switch, you can assign individual commands to single, double, or long-presses.

For more advanced and creative uses, you can combine multiple devices using Recipes. With drag-and-drop simplicity, Recipes let you control multiple devices with a single command.

All your POP Home Switches are easily accessible in the Dashboard. And, you can easily identify different switches by their color directly in the app.

Logitech POP Home Switch Starter Pack is required.

SeriouslyDave,
Great buttons, frustrating app
I’ve configured two different sets of POP buttons - one to work with IFTTT and the other with HomeKit. This app’s poor usability made the process confusing and frustrating in both cases. However, I stuck with it, figured out what needed, and have been very happy with the buttons.

Logitech might have a real winner with the buttons if they improved the usability of this setup app.
Walt D,
Long time user—appreciating this update
I’ve used Logi POP switches for several years now. This app had been on its last legs for years. I had to juggle old devices to adjust certain settings, where iOS updates made the UI unusable. And by happenstance, I had need to try to make some adjustments to my scenes after some recent hardware upgrades. Imagine my surprise that an update was published 4 days prior, fixing many of the most devastating bugs that had plagued the experience of using this app.

Realize, this product line is in an end of life state—no new hardware being made. But this is a review of the software, not the hardware. And the services available in this software still mostly do everything that it was ever advertised to do. So no new features will likely ever come, but still useful for certain workflows. I give many thanks to the engineer who pushed out this update! I have imagine they did it just for their own personal devices.

I suspect this will be the final update. But it’s in an ok spot to be useful for at least a few more years, I think. To this day, the options in this space are limited, and I’m glad I don’t have to invest in any other system just yet, all of them on the market now having their own drawbacks. Thankfully, this old, under appreciated, reliable ecosystem has a little fight left in it.
AndrewAppel,
Amazing product, horrible app (use HomeKit)
First off, I want to say this is an amazing product overall - the rating I gave is directly tethered to the app itself. Not the hardware or experience when you get it working.

The app will NOT let you convert your device to HomeKit - despite it having the feature to do so.

The app is horribly laid out, and very confusing. Even more so when you compare to the simplicity of the Apple HomeKit interface.

If you add the device with this app first but intend to use HomeKit, prepare to lose at least 20 minutes, as you will need to perform a factory reset on the bridge & button(s) to set it back up in HomeKit.

Lastly, if you add directly through HomeKit while on your 2.4GHz band of your network - it will be painless and work perfectly. I cannot stress enough how great the end result is - you get to control any HomeKit device by the touch of a button. You can add as many as you like as well, just be sure not to use this app - use HomeKit and if you add a button, simply tap the Birdge’s button and then your add-on button and it will automatically appear in the Apple Home app.

Great product - horrible app.
ThadeousC,
Setup and loving it
Just got my buttons set up. Now I can lock my front door, turn on lights and start music all with the same button. Setup was a breeze, love these little things. Just wish there was an option for custom button colors to match my living room.
Sparky 223,
Great product
I love the whole entire concept of the switch controlling different smart devices with a simple different types of press of the buttons. But there’s one thing that I can not be able to do and that is log into the application
Kohmando,
No Longer Control Brightness
This app has not been updated for iOS 12. Since updating to iOS 12 you can no longer adjust the brightness setting of my LIFX bulbs. There should be a brightness slider at the top of each bulbs settings but it’s now gone. Please update the app.
Lackland01,
Bizarre it shows but doesn’t control LIFX brightness
The physical button is handy and works well. But running under iOS 12 although the app gives an indicator line displaying the set brightness, it has no slider to change it, even though the same app when installed under an earlier version of iOS (in my case v9 on a very old iPad) has a prominent slider that works. Very strange, very frustrating, very puzzling given Logitech’s usual excellence.
Panchero,
Great little tools
Much easier than saying Alexa. I just wish the made replacement for physical switches.

The app doesn’t quite work on my iPhone Xs. I can’t control the top slider to adjust the brightness due to the notch.
Brand8372637,
App crashes with IOS 12
After upgrading to iOS 12, the app just crashes upon opening. (I have even deleted and reinstalled. And tried on iPhone 7 Plus as well as XS with the same outcomes.)
This means that whatever configuration you have your buttons set to, they’ll continue to work but cannot be changed after upgrading to iOS 12.
Lino412,
Complete garage
App keeps crashing when trying to launch. I can’t tell you how many people have searched on Reddit to try and find a solution, and not one person from Logitech cares. Don’t believe me? Google search logi pop app keeps crashing and see what “pops” up.
