Super political (but isn’t everything these days?)
Yeah this is a good app for memes and yeah there’s political talk in the comments. Lots of people who sit either very near the middle or more to the right. It can sometimes make the app feel a little bit less like a community and more like a place where any opinion from the left would automatically be drowned out as “libtard” noise. Even on non-political memes you’ll still find comments that have to bring up debates over gender and sexuality or trump and his following. Idk man. I guess the opposite is true on other apps which also isn’t good. I just wish everybody could get along but what do I know

Bigots Everywhere
Over the past few months I’ve seen a lot of racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and generally rude or offensive content. From my understanding of the terms of use this is unacceptable. It’s certainly one thing to be rude and offensive simply for the sake of being a jerk but additionally these posts are neither funny nor entertaining in any way. If this app is meant to be a place to share funny and amusing content then so be it, but that means they need to do a MUCH better job taking down reported content and ensuring people do not violate the community standards. If you’re BIPOC I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve had this app for years but I’m deleting it now. Too much rampant bigotry
Furthermore, from what I’ve found a lot of these posts are coming from the same users whose posts I have reported multiple times. It’s disgusting that people are allowed to get away with this kind of behavior and that LOL Pics continues to allow people like that to engage on this app.

Used to love it
Used to be a great way to kill time with funny memes. Great how if I saw all the recent memes I could select random and see some maybe I’ve never seen or haven’t seen in a while, but had to delete because something within the app was accessing my phone/ or the ads are infused with a virus or something- I would hear a boing sound out of my phone speaker, once there was music playing until I closed out of the app. Ads would pop up without being clicked and open up its own tab in my internet browser, and today it popped up with an ad for a porn site for “milfs” which showed full nudity in the ad- how embarrassing if I had been at work or in public. Anyway I just can’t trust it, maybe I’ll check back in a couple months see if anything has changed since the app itself has been a favorite for years. Only been having these problems within the last 6 months

Brian shut down the server to make a lame app sadly.. but LOLPICS was the best app and community I’ve ever been apart of.. for about 8ish years.. Just wish Brian didn’t shut it down to make a “meme game.” Like dude.. not only is nobody gonna play it.. but also, you should’ve waited to shut LOLPICS down until that app was ready.. that way people could transition. But now you’ve lost your voice, as well as your ability to inform us about your lame app that will never come out. Which should be fairly clear based on the fact that it took you 6-7 years to never deliver an update that you promised.

Best meme app
I've been looking at this app daily for 5 years, and it's never disappointed me. It's better than all the other meme apps because the memes have to actually be funny to make main feed. It's also got a really nice community of people who comment - hardly any trolls, mostly nice people, and there isn't all this abuse, harassment, and rampant racism like on Pictophile. The thing I like best about it is that when you leave the app, no matter how long you're gone from it, it doesn't refresh and lose your place when you come back. It stays right where you left it, which is rare for apps these days.

It’s a run-of-the-mill meme app. Full of several members who have been on for years and have developed a dysfunctional-family complex with each other. Very pander-y for attention.
Meme quality is decent. Main feed updates with a new picture every 15 minutes or so in the day and less-often at night (app based in US). The app creator, “Brian” has had several issues with a former moderator which has resulted in lawsuits and (most importantly for the app) less time dedicated to the functionality of the app. There are integer problems regarding the liking and commenting system which wildly throw comments and pictures to negative points. Not a fatal flaw, but it is indicative of a failing app.
Overall, the app is decent. None of this is to be taken to mean anything against the people who run the app, but is only a review of how I viewed the app for the several years I was a member. The app quality and meme quality has declined over my tenure which is why I chose to delete.
There is also no way to delete the account on said app. Only a log-out button.

Best funny picture app
This app is consistently better than its competitors. New pictures are added every few minutes. I find more pictures funny on this app than on iFunny. This is a great place to get a feel for new memes, or even learn about the news (lately, there have been spurts of memes roasting EA for their Battlefront game.) I have not experienced any bugs in the newest version so far. This app is not for kids, since a lot of the pictures have foul language or inappropriate content. There are enough clean ones, however, to keep me coming back. Good app overall!

Amazing 6/5 stars
I have been using this app for years and just realized I haven’t left a review. This app is hands down the best and has hardly any advertisements. It also has the best community ever. Brian has done an amazing job and will continue to somehow make it better. I want to thank Brian, this app and the community has helped me thru some hard times in my life and that means more to me than just 5 stars.

A Little Conservative
If I were rating on the memes and funny pictures alone, I’d give it five stars, but recently, there has been a lot of political talk and it’s frustrating me. It seems that a lot of the LOL Pic’ers are conservative Trump-supporting pro-gun anti-feminists. It’s frustrating to someone who is further left than they are when anyone who disagrees with their opinion is automatically downvoted. If you can handle their viewpoint, this is the app for you. I’ve been on this app for over 5 years now but I don’t feel at home at all. Thank you.

Okay, lolpics has always been more than a meme app. It's a community, and a tasteful one at that. This is a great place to go when you just need a break or can't sleep, pretty much any situation. I have spent a very large amount of time on this app, and it has always been great. AND NOW THIS UPDATE THIS UPDATE IS SO AMAZING EVERYTHING IS STREAMLINED IT LOOKS SO NICE ITS SO MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH I LOVE THIS. Anyways, this app has been great to me, and it'll probably be great to you.
