Love

Let me start off by saying I’ve never been one to buy things in games. I get bored to easily and don’t want to waste money on a game I might delete later. I love that with this game you don’t have to buy gems. You can watch videos for them or earn them making choices. I also love that there aren’t many major choices that will mess up the story. There’s a couple that you make that are like 25 gems but they don’t ruin the story if you don’t choose them, or at least it doesn’t seem to. My only issue with the app is the chapters seem to go by quickly. But they pack so much in to some of them even that doesn’t bother me to much. Over all I enjoy this app a lot. :)

Free gems disappear after purchase

Normally I would’ve given this app five stars, because the stories are great and lots of fun. I understand that developers need money, so the gems for choices are understandable, and I even wanted to support them by buying gems. My issue is that as soon as you purchase something in the app, the option to earn gems by watching ads completely disappears. I am not the first person to have had this issue. It seems to be a common issue on the forums, and it has happened on other apps that this company owns. As soon as I purchase something, I am no longer able to earn free gems through ads and therefore I’m forced to purchase more if I would like to continue. When I talk to customer service they tell me that the ads are through a third-party, and that there may not be any ads at the time for my area. However, other apps I’ve downloaded from this company that I have not made purchases in, I am still receiving ads for. So there are clearly ads available to me. I have been told to wait and hope that I receive ads one day, but otherwise I have not received any other help and the company has not reached out to the third party to solve the issue. I have been waiting for a month. Still nothing. So that’s cool. And sad, as I was enjoying the app. Unfortunately I will have to delete.

Good Game - But Just Like All The Rest

This game has good story lines and I like the uniqueness of adding classic Jane Austen stories into the mix.

But, just like most games of this genre it’s pay or be reprimanded. I understand that developers have to make money. So I understand that for example, when you pick a dress, there has to be nice ones that cost money and basic ones that don’t. However, when picking a dress you only get one option unless you want to essentially pay to play. Then, if you don’t pay up some gems the characters in the story get mad at you and are literally disgusted saying things like “ugh you’re not wearing that are you?”

Quite frankly that’s messed up. You are having characters in game making you feel bad about not spending money on micro transactions. Not that I necessarily think this game would break people’s bank but I just think it is a messed up precedent to be setting to literally make fun of and judge people who don’t spend money. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but idk games like this always make me mad because of this one feature. If I was left to just pick the free option and characters said nothing about it, I’d be fine. But they reprimand you for not paying and that really turns me and I feel a lot of people off of these games.

Again, interesting stories, but not interesting enough to make me play a game where pixels are judging me and making me feel bad about not paying money on a phone game.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!! DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS APP!!

I love there Tabou app. It’s interactive & fun. It even allows you to create your own avatar and actually choose your personal avatar in each story. So I decided to checkout this “Love & Passion” app because I wanted the ability to read a couple of completed stories here that weren’t fully released in Tabou. So, I joined the club almost a month ago and their new stories that release weekly have yet to be updated with a new chapter. I even reached out for help TWICE… Just asking how frequently do they release a new chapter. To my surprise, their help department just straight up closed the help ticket. Didn’t even have the decency to answer my simple question at all; just closed the, after a couple days like I wasn’t a paying customer.
So, at this point it really does feel as if the company is stealing money from their customers on this app. They should close this app completely and just stay focused on Tabou. NEVER SPENDING MONEY OR TIME ON THIS APP AGAIN!! If I could give it ZERO STARS I would.

THE LONGEST WAIT - EXPENSIVE

Help me understand why it takes so long for you to update your chapters? It’s been weeks and I mean WEEKs for several of your stories to update, and then when they do update, the chapter is like 5 taps and it’s done, then back to waiting more and more weeks. If other apps can update at least once a week, and I’m not sure you’re affiliated with the Taboo App (cause your characters are 100% identical) but even on the Taboo app they’re constantly updating. I get that it takes time for developers to create and do all the behind the scenes, but waiting almost a month for an update is beyond ridiculous…

Also, why are the Diamond prices so expensive? Maybe come out with ways to earn free diamonds or discount your prices to purchase, because even your VIP package is a rip off and not worth it. Make take a page from the app Chapters. Very successful app, makes a ton of money, y’all need to do something because I’m sure you’re losing customers for sure.

Love the 19th century stories!

I love that the stories take place in the Victorian and Regency era, especially the Regency because I’m a fan of Jane Austen’s stories. Speaking of Austen, are her other stories going to made as well? Just like Pride & Prejudice and Sense & Sensibility? I noticed that it was a bit different from the original material, but it was still fun to play. I finished all of the chapter stories that are available so far, I’m really looking forward to more chapters and continuations to come up soon. Are there going to be new stories coming out in the near future? :)

Overall Great. BUT

Overall it’s great and I love its history focused. However one of the first ones they have you play I will note has no attention to consume or hair. The styles range from regency to 1700s to Victorian to modern. It’s a hot mess. The second one I played was much more accurate in costuming. The first one is the one they want you to automatically play though so it gave me an iffy impression.

Overall though the stories are good and I can’t wait for more. I would love access to the closet so we could always change our hairstyle or clothes if we wanted. Premium clothing had more of a meaning. And the ability to replay specific chapters. Especially the ending chapters so you could see how it plays out with choosing different characters.

Needs more

They recently moved all of their completed stories to their other app TABOU, still haven’t updated the ones we’ve been waiting on for MONTHS. They need to tell fans they’ve given up. LAME.
Not enough content, takes too long to update stories, women must always be submissive…even in the game where you play a sex worker, you are forced to be submissive in both romances. Also in games where there is more than 1 love interest, don’t bother replaying - both romances are a copy and paste job. Exactly the same, even when their personalities are way different. Lazy writing. Oh, and when you complain about women always having to be submissive the customer support person says you should read the 2 games that don’t include sex. Apparently only submissive women should enjoy sexy stories? Nope.

won’t let me play games

I don’t know if this is done on purpose or something, but the app will randomly not let me play any of the games. like i started off with “duke of sin” but after the 1st chap it said there weren’t anymore chaps available which i thought was normal. then i tried again a few hrs later and chap 2 was up but supposedly chap 3 wasn’t. so went to try out one of the other stories and it wouldn’t let me try any of them. it just kept saying the same “something went wrong. this chapter is not available yet. check again later!” then i updated the app and was able to play chaps 3+4 of “duke of sin” and play chap 1 of one of the other stories. but now it’s back to not letting me play a single story, including the ones i haven’t started

Like other apps I feel like you have to buy all the time to be able to make a choice that you want and with this I don’t feel like you have to buy stuff all the time and you can easily save up and the choices aren’t that expensive I would never delete this this is the best stories game ever this is a game I don’t mind spending money on
