Fast pace, exciting
This 13 card poker app is fun and exciting, yet fast pace and requires you to look at your cards and think quickly in order to stay on top of your game as there’s a time limit for you to arrange your cards before showdown. One thing that’s challenging is that you need to position yourself in a safe hand as soon as possible, because if someone hits lucky 13, the round ends there immediately, and if you’re still in the process of arranging your cards, it’ll count as bad hand and you can lose tons of coins. Also one thing I didn’t quite like is that it ranks the suits as well, which is unheard of in 13 card poker, at least I have never played that way. But as long as you bear in mind with that rule, you should do fine. This game is for you if you’re up for some brain challenge and/or trying to kill time

Lots of Bugs!
App has many many bugs! First off, I’ve seen lower ranking flushes win over higher ones so many times I’ve lost count! I’ve also seen it rank my own hands - one higher over another when the one it’s saying is higher is clearly lower. And even worse yet, on rare occasions I’ve seen it give me a bad arrangement penalty when I KNOW KNOW KNOW 4 a FACT I had them in the correct order!! And another bad thing is how after you play 4 awhile, u run out of ‘energy’, and then it tries to get u buy ‘gems’ to restore your energy and continue playing. If u take a break from playing your energy will restore on its own. Admittedly it is a pretty fun game when it functions properly- but I would definitely recommend not taking it too seriously and definitely NOT dropping any $$ into it b/c I won’t spend a cent to play! Whatever I can’t do for free I’ll simply do without- and I would recommend the same to anyone else - I view it as a small diversion only!
Also VERY annoying when an opponent gets a ‘lucky 13’, everyone else’s screen freezes and you cannot make any more changes- even when u haven’t used all your time yet. That has caused me to get a bad arrangement penalty- and that’s not fair; we should have all the time on our clock to make adjustments regardless!

Lucky 13 review
I really enjoy the game and it is addictive. However, there are too many problems with the game that are extremely frustrating. First off, every 20 minutes I got logged off during a match and when I get back in I automatically lost or have no time to arrange cards and lose. I lost so many coins losing big hands in the high lobbies. Secondly, whenever someone gets a lucky 13, they automatically win without giving you a a chance to arrange your cards so most of the time you get a bad arrangement after a chance he card. You should be given at least 10 seconds to rearrange cards to play the other players. Lastly, the people who have lots of gems will pay extra for bombs and multiply their wins. This is a huge disadvantage to everyone else. When you win you get the bae amount and when they win you lose big. I can win 2 of 3 hands but still lose a lot. Fix those things and I would keep playing and spend more money on gems. If not, it is too frustrating to play.

Login rewards????
The game is just avg, it’s fun and i play it often. Things that make me deduct 2 stars: if someone gets an automatic win and you don’t have a valid hand set in time you end up losing everything with a bad arrangement. Second is that for the log in rewards I’ve read that no one gets the top prize when you make your choices. Knowing this before i started playing I’ve been picking the same 3 cards in the same position for the last few months and guess what, I’ve never received the top prize. You pick 3 cards out of 12 so you should have a 1 in 4 chance to get it. Nope I’ve selected at least 100 times and have never gotten it

Strange Rules or Incorrect Programming?
Other reviews have mentioned a strange thing when hands are evaluated. At first I thought I was going crazy when flushes with a higher “high card” like a King were losing to flushes with a lower “high card” like a Jack (as in 3,6,10,Q,K losing to 3,4,8,10,J). Or, like the hand I just played, I had a flush with the King “high card” as my back hand and the one with the Jack as my middle hand and a 3 card flush as my front hand. The game said my cards were set incorrectly and I had a big loss. The “suit” shouldn’t be an issue unless cards are of equal value. I checked their tutorial. It seems like winning is determined by suit. I’ve never heard of ranking that way, it doesn’t make sense and ruins the fun for me. It’s a major problem if a player is spending money on the game and assumes the rules are like other poker-type games. Why don’t they clearly warn the players in advance? Why do they have a high rating if so many people have complained?

Payout isn’t right
I notice sometimes when I have a flush or high card hand and the other person has the same I lose although I have higher cards in my hand. Would be a five star game if it wasn’t for that defect.
BTW: how the hell does a queen high flush beat my ace high flush? The scoring on this game is not right. My top hand could be AKQ and the winning hand that beats mine would be AJ9. How the hell does that work? And we also need more time to think. 60 seconds would be nice instead of 45. Also when someone gets lucky 13 and your not done setting up your hand you are basically screwed. Can we at least have the full time to set up our hand before the lucky 13 gets called out? I enjoy the game but when things like these happen it just makes me mad and not want to play it. Please fix this awesome game. Thank you.

Energy
I gave this 3 stars only. There should be no reason why there should be an energy counter. In a casino, a player has the option of either playing or not playing. If he or she has money, even in a mobile game like this, they should “not” be restricted by having an energy counter. I’d like to play continuously but, I’m restricted with the amount of counters I have. Needless to say, if the developers of this game is only worried about sales, remove this game or reformat it in such a way that there would be other forms of power ups that can be bought. The gems is one. I would still reiterate, please remove the energy counters.

Flushes and payout
Very confused on how flushed work.....every casino i have been in a flush is awarded by high card followed by suit this game goes only by suit so if you have a flush make it in spades.
Second issue i have is how the winning system works i have fullhouse flush pr i beat three of the four players yet i still loose credits/money!!!

Never seen an app with so many glaring bugs. This is not a professional-level program. Poor graphics, but much worse — ranks hands incorrectly as others have pointed out but also YANKS YOUR INCOMPLETE HANDS AWAY with no warning even when you supposedly have time left!
For the coupe de grace, ABSOLUTELY NO HELP OR FAQ ON ALL THE INCOMPREHENSIBLE RULES. There are MISSIONS, CM’s, TOKENS, GEMS. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY? It won’t tell you anything.

Unstable
Been playing for over 2 or 3 month now app still freezes when going between hands. Payout seem a little off. I do recommend changing when a user enable double bonus to play only users with double bonus as it give an unfair advantage to them only. I been playing this games for years in real life so don’t understand how 10 spades flush beats A high diamond flush. It should alway count card number then suits when determining who wins. Please brush up on rules of the game instead of creating your own.
