Thanks to our amazing users (did we mention amazing?), we found two scary problems. Problem #1: most of you think that Lumhaa is just a photo sharing app. So in this version, we've tried to fix those issues: for starters, we've added more cues and prompts to show you that Lumhaa's memory jars are more like scrapbooks than like photo albums -- we encourage you to add descriptions and emotion tags to your memories! Your future self will thank you for them :)
Problem #2: It's confusing to invite other people to your memory jars. So we've simplified the process for you to invite someone else into your memory jar: all you need to do now is share the jar link with them, and they'll see a giant "join" button at the top.
As always, our exterminator squad is working on squashing those bugs, but if you have any feedback, please feel free to reach out to Shriya (our founder) through the chat button in the app, or write to us at [email protected]. Thanks again for using Lumhaa, and for your support on our mission of spreading joy through memories!

Really love this app! I'm not just talking about the cute and straightforward UI design, but also the ingenious concept that helps me commemorate my experiences and emotions, and various features that organize my memories in intuitive ways.
Lumhaa helps me stow away my daily experiences and emotions in little memory jars, be it with a short sentence, a voice memo, a picture, or a video. I can cherish the memories myself, and I can choose to share some of them with my friends and loved ones.
I especially love my memories are automatically organized by time of logging, time of occurrence, and location. With such handy feature I am able to literally find and relive my memories through time and space.

A wonderful way to organize & capture moments!
This app has it all. I love making lists and collections and use a whole ecosystem of apps to manage photos, written notes, linked media etc and with Lumhaa I can do all of those things in one place. Also those memories center on relationships and people or experiences and it’s cool that I can create specific memory jars for those contexts. I like the focus on small groups and privacy — I don’t like sharing private memories / media publicly and am looking forward to making memory jars for my closest friend circles. I’m thinking of using it for my food & fitness log too. It feels so personal & straightforward — love it!

Intuitive and Elegant... memories to last a lifetime
I absolutely love Lumhaa! I stumbled upon this and initially just wanted a place where I could sort through my photos without having the pressure of making them public. Jars are a perfectly intuitive way to do just that. Then I made one with my family. Now instead of having all the photos in our family group message, which makes it almost impossible to retrieve older photos we just update the family jar. Can't imagine life without Lumhaa now! Developers did a great job making such a fun and elegant way to store and sort memories big and small!

Great app!
Love the idea and the design. We created a memory jar for our son’s 1st birthday party and asked family & friends to share memories/picture/videos of their experiences with him(a custom URL was emailed). Lumhaa then created a beautiful digital memory compilation that we will cherish forever. We also will be purchasing a physical memory jar. Feedback from those that posted in the jar has been exceptional and they have now created memory jars for their own loved ones.

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Although I have just started to use it but I really love the feature of being able to create a jar and fill it up with memories and include a description about it. I like the idea of being able to write about what’s going on in the picture. That way a few years down the road I can look back at it and relive all these memories!

I have a lot of photos on my phone but they’re all unorganized! Lumhaa not only helps me reorganize these photos but also gives me a reason to reconnect with friends, do something new with my current friends, and relive the many moments of my life I care about. You can put in photos or texts or voice messages and is a creative way to journal!

It is often the small moments that culminate into something big over time! I look forward to using Lumhaa to capture these seemingly small events and be able to go back to them to revisit my journeys and special moments. I had started using this app as a way to dump memories and photos in jars with my friends. But I’m OBSESSED with the new update and all the cards and games in it. I especially love the ice breaker conversation cards, and the personality quizzes. 11/10 recommend for some fun and memories with people you care about
