mermaid,
Awesome, but needs some work
The game is awesome, and absolutely gorgeous, not to mention challenging but fun! The only problem I have is that the controller freezes in place at times, and as other people have pointed out, my ball randomly changes to a different color without my doing.... that is especially irritating when I’m TRYING to change colors, but cannot due to not knowing how to do so.... otherwise the game is awesome.
redrose92087,
Please update your MM games for iOS 11!
I just downloaded this game and have enjoyed what I’ve played so far but my main motivation for buying it is I used to have several Midnight Mysteries games on my old iPad and now that I tried to transfer them to my new iPad they’re not compatible for iOS 11 and I really really would like the developers to update them so I can play them. I’ve loved every game I’ve played from this developer but the MM games were some of my favorite!!

Luxor 2
It stopped working. I’m trying to continue my saved game and It keeps blowing me out back out!?
metaquartz,
Frustrating
While it’s SUCH A RELIEF not to have skeevy ads every thirty seconds, it’s still a poor substitute for the original Zuma and Zuma’s Revenge. The shooter controls are customizable which is nice, but they’re still awkward. Kind of a waste of my money, but at least it wasn’t much. If you like sliding shooter games give it a shot… it’s great not to have all those awful ads.
Pjuice,
Good game needs some old features though
I love the entire Luxor series yet on the latest two games the "shake" to change ball feature is not an option. It is very difficult to change balls by touching or swiping on an iPod touch or iPhone. It seams that this game has been made to convenience the iPad users while forgeting about the smaller device users. I will refrain from giving this game a five stat review until this problem is fixed. I still absolutely love the Luxor franchise yet long for the ease of control that the original had.
dkremaro,
Awesome!
There are three Luxor's on the App store. The Original Amun Rising and now this one and all three are good and Amun Rising is Retina and much better than the first but this one blows all out of the water. It's awesome. Looks beautiful plays great has new power ups and the levels have some 3D going on and are crazy detailed. If you like Luxor or just marble shooters get this now. Worth every Penney and I hope they continue to put their library of games on iOS devices. Pure fun plain and simple.
Jrob23robJ,
Survival Mode is the best iPhone game!!
I love this game on Xbox 360 and was very skeptical that such a small screen could do it justice. Not to mention the awful reviews I read under this one. I was thrilled right off the bat. This game is all about survival mode and it is just as much fun as the Xbox version. Great way to waste some time on a bus or while avoiding your girlfriend. Wish it was a little cheaper, not sure why it's three bucks but it's the best game I have and I have a few!!
PublishBars,
Seems Buggy
It's harder to swipe to switch to the other ball on Luxor 2 than on Luxor. It also seems as if I get more dagger power ups than before. And for some reason the ball likes to change colors when it shouldn't so I end up shooting the wrong color in the wrong place because of the color change, and no, it's not the same as when there are no more balls of a certain color. This is just strange.

I feel as if Luxor 2 is an unnecessary update. Back to the regular Luxor I go.
RLimar,
Not as good as the original
While I love the graphics on Luxor 2, there are some problems that make it a poor follow up to the original. First the balls are tiny. That would not be as much of a problem but with the richly textured backgrounds, the balls are hard to see. This goes for the 'falling' jewels and rewards as well. In faster moving upper level games, you sometimes have to choose between a 'life' coin or a power up. The tiny size of these make it almost impossible to choose. More troubling is that the controller is not easily maneuverable. It 'hangs up' and is sluggish to respond.

This game has potential but needs work.
Avything,
Fun game
I enjoyed the first iteration of this game tremendously. Luxor 2 is fun, but not as much. I still need more time playing the game to be able to truly evaluate it. One complaint is the color f the balls. Sometimes the yellow, red, and orange look the same. Additionally, the balls don't seem to speed up, like the initial version. Again, I'm not far into the game yet to know if it does speed up. Overall it is still fun, and seems to simply extend the first version.
