I have not finished the game but so far it is very cute~. I absolutely love the Mahou Shoujo feel to the game, as it is one of my favorite genres and it's very difficult to find a game that has that kind of atmosphere to it. I do have one complaint about the translations however. I understand that this developer is not a native speaker, however I believe this complaint is important none the less.
As I was arriving to the second stage of the game Momoka (I think that's her name, she reminds me of Menhera-Chan~) is arguing with her cat over money. It's starts out cutesy but then Momoka, (who like most magical girls, is very young) calls her companion the N word...
Now, even though I am black, I wasn't totally offended. I actually thought it was cute to see this little girl get so worked up over an in app purchases, and I could already tell it was probably in part due to the games bad translation that such a word was able to get in. However, in the App Store the game is available for ages 9+. I am worried that if a child gets this game and the parent sees the curse words it could be taken off of the App Store, which is the last thing I want because it's so cute and so well put together. I can tell the people incharge worked very hard on it. Hopefully you can fix the translation so you don't get your app removed or change the age range so a child can't buy the app.
Like I've said before the app is very cute and well put together. Momoka and her car friend are super adorable, the music and graphics really give a good arcade feel, the monster designs are amazing in everyway, and all and all I don't see too much wrong with the game. I'm not a professional game reviewer but I am a HUGE Mahou Shoujo fan and I think Momoka will go in my list of favorite magical girls (She really does look like Menhera Chan). I hope to see more cutesy games like this in the future.
