Erased my old review cuz for some reason it came up front on the reviews. I was having problems but about a week after it started an upgrade came out and things are ok now. Except it would be nice to be able to change tiles without paying like similar games. The one other thing I think it needs is a pause button. But I love playing it and do so every day.
My game was doing great till I updated it today. Played the new challenge and in second game it froze up completely??? I even tried playing the regular games and as soon as your done and it goes to the oh where you decide to go to next game or back it froze right up again so had to bring it back down to a 2 till it's fixed .
The game has been working great. The one thing I don't understand is you give pts for playing 7 days in a row but, it's only a one time deal??

Enjoy Majong
I’ve been playing this version of Majong, and I’m really enjoying it! This version is much friendlier than other versions. The tiles and layouts are beautiful; the game prompts me when I get stuck, and I can take pieces in any order. This means the game allows me to disturb other pieces. I can take numbers out of order, it seems sometimes I have to go in direction of the four winds, or four seasons though. This is a ver lenient, westernized version of Majong better known as Shanghai in the West. Definitely try this version of Majong, I think you’ll enjoy it very much.

Works fairly well
The app is very authentic and fun to play. There are many different backgrounds and tile selections. The music is authentic and can be turned off or on as well. Not a fan of the timer. You get knocked off points when you have to shuffle, which doesn’t seem fair. There are many different levels and three different skill levels to play. It would be more convenient though if the other game boards were accessible within levels. Meaning you can close and open levels more easily. Right now if you close out of a level, your progress is hindered and you’ll have to re-do a level you’ve previously passed in order to keep progressing in the game. Overall, a fun game with lots of options.

What I don't understand is how I slip back a position or two and not see the player who passed by?! WELL I just something odd: a player is listed in the “Today” global leader board, but isn’t listed in the “This week” nor in the “All Time” global leaderboards 😳Woah 😳 How can that be??

Easiest to play
What started me playing was the choice of difficulty. If you are not the worlds best player you can set the game to simple easy levels. I love that Feature. Most games you are just at that level they determine for you. The game is full of other choices you can set. The game layout is easy for the eyes easy to figure out the game controls. Just an enjoyable gaming experience.

I play the games some each day. I have dementia caused by adult hydrocephalus and have a shunt to drain the water off. I play some each day usually. It helps with short term memory loss. I really enjoy it in my spare time and when I travel long distances. I am in Thailand living with my daughter and her family. Her husband is Thai. Thank you for developing this game.

Best game I’ve played in years
Love the clarity and diversity of the tiles. Like the timed aspect to keep me fully focused to get my best speed. Also like the ability to have a hint when I get stuck. This is my “go-to” diversion whenever I have a few minutes to burn. Can stop & then pick up exactly where I left off. Glad there will be more levels to master.

Too many adverts
It’s your average Mahjong game. When you run out of games there’s more to buy. I just received an update which I thought would be an extension of more games, but looks like they increased Advert time. Maybe they should have addressed the ridiculousness in the “battle” of incompatible levels playing against each other ie: Level 14 against 1 or level 2 against 9. It happened quite often.

One of my Favorite Mahjong Games
I have downloaded many Mahjong games after falling in love with it from desktop versions. This app, has been the best to keep me with it so far! I gave up, and had put 3 that were also available on iPhone also, for my mom to play while I had an PT appointment. I played the 3 later at home. This is the only one I kept.

I paid for the game and when I tried to reopen it, I got a blank screen, no game. I wrote to the Customer Support address that I found in another review and received a response only after I had reloaded the game, only to find that the ads were still there. Apparently it is possible to restore purchases from within the game, so I did and 3 days later, everything works. A lot of hassle for a game, but it does work now.
