Making Authentic Friendships Hack 8.2.1 + Redeem Codes

I do want to love this app, and maybe someday I will - though after 7 months I am relinquishing our subscription.

The big problem may be beyond their control: the user base is not big enough, but is very diverse as far as ages, cognitive and physical abilities.

I feel like getting some funding (investors/GoFundMe) so the developer can support herself, market and offer this service for free/pennies for several years - in order to build the user base and the value of the product/business (not because I expect it for free) - would be a better start up model.

It would also be helpful to have more descriptors as far as cognitive abilities/challenges as age, diagnosis, and 3 interests are not always spectacular measures.

Technical issues:
1. I enter in my son’s birthday on our profile (I’m caretaker and he’s 13), but in the list of potential friendships our profile is there (odd) and his age is 33. Which makes me wonder if any of the other ages are right?
2. I can’t upload a picture, because it says I have a custom avatar.
3. There have been times I can’t get rid of a signup splash screen despite being a subscriber.

I want this to succeed so badly, and I think they can, but there are things to iron out.

I like the idea and would love to give it a shot. However I downloaded the app, created an account, verified my account. Then I went to sign in and it said I already had an account and that I would need to create a new account. I checked to see if I had attempted using this app in the best. I can’t find any evidence to suggest that I have. I tried resetting my password thinking I might have entered in a wrong password when creating my account but it made no difference. Is this app even still active? Am I trying to access an app that doesn’t work anymore?

Several pages online are not available to access anymore. Including the page linked to customer support on the App Store. So this seems like the only way I might be able to talk to tech support. Let me know if I’m doing something obviously wrong. Otherwise I’m not sure this app is worth the frustration it’s put me through in an hour.

I have three special needs kids and they are all teens now. While my daughter has had good success making friends, it is harder for my two boys and it has been a huge source of great sadness. While we have not even started using this, I wanted to tell you how happy there is a positive social media option for these people besides things like Discord which is very challenging to navigate in regards to the sometimes inappropriate content that is allowed there. My only wish is for you to have a version for kids 11-16 as this app is targeting 17+. My 13 year old, especially during Covid is really struggling.

My son has trouble making friends. He used to get depressed often because of how alone he is watching other people go out with their friends. But things have changed tremendously!! Since signing up for this app, he has broken his anxiety wall of talking to other people. I was starting to get worried about him because he had no social skills but this app changed that for him as he struggled to make friends. This app is really helpful and I recommend this app. I’m thankful that my son has this app to help him make friends and connect to other people with similar interests and similar issues.

As soon as I log in it always freezes and I can’t ever get a subscription because I can’t press any buttons. It’s a nice idea but it’s kinda a disappointment it costs money and it overall hasn’t even functioned for me when I try getting a subscription. Shouldn’t have autistic people pay to make friends even if it’s called a donation. I think other people should be donating. Not us for our own needs. If someone could fix the app enough for it to get past the login page then I’d try it again because my family and therapist believes I could really benefit from this app.

I have a autistic daughter who doesn’t have any friends at all and I was excited for this app so she could have friends but I found out it costs money, I barely have money to feed her and her brother, much less pay money for this app. I wish it was free so I could make her happy, but unfortunately you made this app to look free then try to make us pay for it after we made an account for her.

As a sibling to someone with special needs, it pains me to see them not able to socialize in normal settings/circumstances. This app makes it easy for her to align herself with people of similar interests and locations so that she can find friends close by. There’s a lot of filters to choose from, and I hope this can expand in the future!

This app is incredible. This past year has been so hard due to the pandemic and all of the restrictions. Without the help of this app, my niece would have been completely isolated. This app is so easy to navigate and all of the features are great. I believe this app can be life
changing for so many people. We’re so thankful for it.

This app helps forge connections that can be challenging for many people. It’s great to see how these newly established relationships help with happiness, self confidence and life skills.

A whole month of this app costs less than a cup of coffee. The negative comments complaining of charging to use this app are completely unfair.

What an absolute waste of money and time downloading this app that freezes, has poor loading and inactive buttons so you get stuck on screens you can’t exit. Terrible user interface and really disappointing. I want my money back. I don’t even know how to contact someone with this app bc it was so frozen and trash I couldn’t access the settings! Apple should review and delete
