Didn’t know they changed the name…
I was subscribed to this for a solid while when it was still Manga Reader but glad I found it again. I accidentally deleted it to try and reset my subscription when it kept force closing. No idea they trashed the Manga Reader app since it didn’t show up in my purchase history either.
Wish they could’ve sent a notification or something, especially to people paying for the premium, about the switch! Honestly thought something was wrong with my card since it said unable to renew my subscription.
Either way I’m glad to have it back since this and Manga Man are my go to for isekai manga since Manga Bird was gone. I’m happy to get all my manga again thank god cause I wasn’t about to spend days trying to find one in a similar format with all my saved manga like last time.

Loved Manga reader and glad I found manga max
The app itself is exactly what I was looking for. But, I can’t use the search function properly. It lets me type in names if I use my original manga reader app, to be able to enter the name and find it on manga Max. I however, cannot search for the specific genre I would like to read, it closes the app every time I try. I would like to see this fixed in the future but for now, the fact that I have my old app with the same names as the new app, I am able to find them, but if I don’t use the old app, then I can’t find the genre that I enjoy easily.

Good but confused about the age rating
This app is great! I’ve been using this to read my manga for a while, it’s full of amazing stories! But when it says 12+ and there is some nudity and sexual harassment it does confuse me. That’s how I ended up giving only 4 stars.
I do thank that it is separated by genres so the more mature mangas are in the “mature” genre. But even still some young kids at like 12 or 13 could see this. It’s not very healthy for their brain development.
But other than that the stories and mangas are great and I downloaded I bit too much manga on the app. There are a bit of things on the adds that are a bit inappropriate but it is a bypass.
That’s it from me! This is a good app to download! Just if your a youngster, ask an adult for help if you download this app or before you download it!

This is the best manga app
It free need I say more there are adds but they are less then 5secs and they are CLEAN 🧼 and if you really into manga you know how hard it is to find cites that aren’t showing you porny adds and have good manga there are also popular manga but it doesn’t have everything but what does 10/5 🌟 best manga app
The only sad part of the app is the there are not many completed romance so if your ok 👌 with good manga that doesn’t end this is great for you

Great overall but need some works
It would be great if there were an feature to auto-download per issue, which saves time later on than manually downloading them all, considering it is already downloading them, why not make them actually download it for offline for premium users which is fair enough. Would mark it 5 stars if that happens but will see in future.

good app!, but the adds need to go down a bit.
It’s a very good app but the updates are kinda slow for the chapters. And don’t get me started on the adds. There are adds every 1-2 chapters and it’s sooo annoying!! And like even when you exit a chapter you still get an add. Also, sometimes when I press on a chapter it doesn’t load at all even if I have good wifi. It either takes a long time or won’t load at all.

Missing Japanese Titles But Still Good
pros: Fast loading, up to date content, good user interface
Cons: Missing “manga” titles (spy x family, one piece, etc), ads (but that is to be expected and they are not *too* frequent)
Conclusion: If you are really only interested in series that come from Japan, then you may want to skip the app. If you like manhwa and manhua (series from South Korea or China), then this app is for you.

Awesome overall
I have been using this app for a couple of days and I really enjoy it so far. But I would them to make a feature where it will save were you left off on a chapter. I find it a really inconvenient to keep scrolling throughout chapter just to find out where I was.

Good but doesn’t show updates for favorites
The app is pretty good but I wish there way some way to show that my favorited manga had new chapters uploaded. Notifications aren’t really enough since they disappear; need something on actual app that shows the manga has a new chapter & so it’s easier to keep track.

HOPE YOU LIKE SPOILERS
This stupid 12 year old app still can’t scroll properly you will be reading something and bam you are half way down the chapter and the big fight or whatever is over and the winner is revealed because EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER YOU READ… ends up skipping around at least 5 times trying to get through it . I thought downloading the chapters would help , like it was a connection problem… but no it’s just that they can’t get simple scrolling to work properly. FIX YOUR APP …..
