Knull’s Void:
Word has spread that you’re trying to power up a Symbiote friend of yours, and Knull is sympathetic to this goal. However he’s not about to give power to those who haven’t earned it! Journey to the Void to get rare resources which will allow you to power up your Summoned Symbiote as you take on the other fun challenges this month has to offer!


ACT 8 CHAPTER 3: ILLUMINATION
Bahamet’s station has been shut down but the fight nearly proved too much for Carina and her fellowship of Champions. The fight was broadcast to the entire Battlerealm, and all the evil forces of The Contest seem to be closing in. The Council is calling Carina and the crew back for a debriefing but the momentum of this victory has to be acted upon without delay. Hades Rifts: Mephisto has sent clones of Kindred to attack The Battlerealm in an attempt to draw out Heroes and claim their souls. Silk, with the help of Doctor Strange, has attempted to track down Mephisto and take the fight to him by creating portals to “Hell”, the pocket dimension where Mephisto resides. Harvest Chaotic Dimensional Energy by defeating the Dimensional entities of The Contest, to power these portals and gain entry to Hell. Defeat any infernal beings found within and take back Mephisto’s stolen goods as a reward. Be wary though as these portals are unpredictable and it’s uncertain where they’ll land you.

NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS


Alliance War - Persistent Placement Phase: Summoners will now be able to save their defensive Champion placements in Alliance War using the new Persistent Placement Phase feature!

Combo Tracking:
This new feature aids Summoners in learning how to build Combos, and how different attacks can have different effects depending on the Champion! The Combo Tracker is a small display that appears below the HUD during a fight, symbolizing each attack that you or your opponent throws.

The Combo Tracker tracks Light, Mediums and Heavy Combo Enders and also shows enemy combos. If a Special Move is executed at the end of a combo also shows that. The Combo Tracker will not count heavies, Specials or Striker attacks as combo starters; only finishers, and will clear held combo if these are activated in a new combo.

It also tracks hits into the block. Dodging back will reset the combo tracker, and the counter resets after 1 second after the last action that added to the combo or if a new combo is started.Combo icons will persist for 1 second or until the next combo.

This feature can be turned off in the Settings menu. This feature is meant as an aid to educate players, and is subject to change and tuning if need be.


NEW RELICS

Spider-Man 2099, Ghost Rider, Mister Sinister:
This new batch of Relics are ready to power some of your favorite Science, Mystic, and Mutant Champions, with a special focus on providing new utility to some Champions.

The Spider-Man 2099 Battlecast makes dealing with Mystics that punish Buffs a walk in the park. Inflicting Wither and even replacing the Dexterity Mastery’s Precision Buff.

The Ghost Rider Battlecast makes you an honorary Emissary of Hell, empowering Degeneration damage and providing Stagger to some Champions.

And as per usual Mister Sinister’s scientific curiosities get the best of him, inflicting Bleed Debuffs on his Mutant Allies while providing specialized benefits to the Class.

The duo wind up crash landing on the barren wastelands of Battleworld where they encounter an unexpected ally - DANI MOONSTAR! Working together these heroes will need to outwit and outmaneuver Lady Deathstrike and her mercs to escape Battleworld and return to Krakoa safely.

But escape is not so simple for the former New Mutants. When the trio discover a mysterious escape pod containing the World Seed, a powerful Asgardian artifact, they realize their survival may decide the fate of the entire Battlerealm. Will Dani be able to face her fears and secure the Seed, or will it fall into the hands of Lady Deathstrike and doom The Contest? Find out in STRIKE FEAR!

An Inter-Dimensional Portal has opened up the Multiverse right here in The Battlerealm. Pouring through this portal are out of control, mechanical SPIDER-BOTS! These mechanical critters were stuck in self-replicating mode, creating hundreds of thousands of themselves. Spider-Man (Miles Morales) has disabled the self-replicating feature, but now he needs your help! The Spider-Bots have been contained to one sector of the Battlerealm, but there’s no telling how long they can be kept quarantined there. Enter the Metal Infestation Side-Quest and gather up as many Bots as possible. Return them to the Spider-Exchange Store and claim rewards for all your hard work.

But the Guardians have a way of stumbling into trouble, and they soon find themselves rescuing MOONDRAGON and arguing with ADAM WARLOCK while also dodging attacks from all sides. Will the Guardians be able to convince their newly reunited compatriots they can be trusted to keep their cosmically important cargo safe, or will there be a SEED OF DOUBT?

Escape From Titan:
Titan is under attack! This time not by Thanos but by Drax (and his friends), who intend on dragging his daughter Moondragon to an outing whether she likes it or not! Each path and fight you choose will determine the next set of encounters’ Buffs and Debuffs. Defeat each encounter along your way and help Moondragon escape Titan!

Your choices of paths and combatants will activate Trap Buffs that will change the fights ahead of you as you go. So remember, when the going gets tough… you did this to yourself!

7-Star Champions:
Beginning later this May, players will be able to open 7-Star Champion Crystals for the very first time. In addition to high health and attack, 7-Stars bring with them the new Stat Focus mechanic, which allows you to customize your Champions by selecting different attributes to augment when they’re being used as an Attacker, and as a Defender.

Auto-Replenish from Stash: When using select items the game will now automatically claim those items from your Stash. See the blog for more information on which items this applies to.

Arena Express Mode: A new perk being added to the Summoner’s Sigil. Arena Express mode makes arena grinding faster by removing unnecessary screens and animations. It can be toggled on or off when picking your arena team.

NEW RELICS

Black Widow, Gamora, Green Goblin:
This new batch of Relics are ready to power some of your favorite Skill, Cosmic, and Tech Champions, with a focus on a few key users of certain Class mechanics. Black Widow rewards Champions who are already hunting their Opponent’s Defensive Abilities with Ability Accuracy reductions. Gamora is ready to power up the Fury and Cruelty Buffs of your Champions, especially if they rely on chance! Last but not least is the Green Goblin who powers up Champions who drain their Opponent’s Power, with a special focus on some of his fellow ne'er do wells.

Mojo is running his own “Mojo’s Choice” event this year, and the Summoner can help by being his flunky! Challenge the “best” The Contest has to offer to inform your voting choices. Mojo will graciously allow you to fight the loser of his choice each week.

Eternity of Pain - Acceptance:
Pain is eternal, and soon a special set of permanent challenges will be made available to those who have become a Thronebreaker and higher! This quest is the culmination of your grief and ACCEPTANCE, where you will be tasked with dealing with all 16 of the previous Eternity of Pain fights spread out over 2 paths, with Nameless Thanos as your final opponent! This quest will be accompanied by Carina’s Challenges Volume 3, a special set of Solo Objectives that will further increase the pain and difficulty.

Grandmaster’s Gauntlet:
The Grandmaster’s Gauntlet returns to challenge you. This time you will need keys to get the greatest of rewards! Players will be awarded keys based on how many times they have previously completed the hardest path of the Gauntlet, so that no one is left out if they missed it before. Keys will also be added to the end of Act 6, so that even future players can experience the full difficulty of the Gauntlet for themselves.

The hungry eyes of the World Eaters have turned to Wakanda and SHURI has requested the aid of the Summoner in an important diplomatic task. They will need to convince Namor to open his gates to the woes of Wakanda, but the deadly ATTUMA may have other plans for these new arrivals. It’s up to the Summoner and Shuri to save both their homes from becoming lost in a SEA OF TROUBLES!


Enter The Reliquary:
A stash of Relics has been uncovered! Battle through the Reliquary each week to claim your prize! The Reliquary consists of a collection of Boss fights, with some Paths containing many fights while others have only a few. In addition a new temporary difficulty, Elder, has been made available to those who have become a Thronebreaker or higher. Complete it for extra Relics rewards!

Eternity of Pain - Depression:
Pain is eternal, and soon a special set of challenges will be made available to those who have become a Thronebreaker and higher! Each week, for 4 weeks, a new fight will be featured and the previous week’s fight will be removed. The 5th week will result in the culmination of your grief and DEPRESSION, where you will be tasked with dealing with all 4 of the previous fights in one painful path! Each week's fights will also be accompanied by Solo Objectives that will further increase the pain and difficulty.

Players will now be able to collect Relics that they can Bind to their champions to greatly enhance their abilities. The first type of Relic releasing are called Battlecasts, which allow you to summon in a Striker to help you during combat. Battlecasts can be obtained in different Rarities, each offering more benefits to your Champions, but all of which give you access to a Striker and at least one other benefit. Champions bound to Relics will gain access to a Striker Gauge, which they can fill through hits and strikes. Once filled, you can tap it to summon in a Striker who will perform a combo that you can chain with your combo or special attack.

Carina will need to root out the saboteur among her ranks and drag her latest foes into the light in Act 8 Chapter 1 - CASTING SHADOWS.

Titania has set up a tournament in an attempt to show that she is the best and has seeded herself in the Titanweight category.
