RoxannWhite,
The app was easy to use and had many activities
I recently got this app for my daughter who is 2 years old. I tested it first to see what the content was in the app. The app was easy to use and had many activities. They were all obviously pretty simple but they did have some good content behind them. Basically they really helped with counting and essentially giving rewards for counting. Some games had you count objects and pick the number, others were connect the dots for sequencing and others were more about matching objects to the proper spot. Overall I though it had some good content in there. Probably a little advanced for a 2 year old, but in a good way, like they can get some stuff and understand while other stuff they cannot. The good thing about this is that it keeps them interested and after a few months my daughter still likes it and is now doing some of the more complex things. I can say that she can now count to 10 reliably and 20 with errors sometimes
James Leiser,
The best head-start you can give your kid(s).
I first saw Math Learner: Counting Numbers when our son was about seven months old. We knew he was a fast learner, but we didn't know how fast he could go with the right road. Justin is two and a half years old in December, and he can already count to twenty-five. He knows all his shapes, letters, colors, etc.. He can read small words like cat, dog, boy, and he's already starting to get the concept of addition. I have two nieces that have this app as well, and they've made leaps, not steps; leaps in their learning too. I know everyone learns at their own pace. What I think this Montessori Counting does is allow your child to find that pace for Themselves, and then surpass it. Justin gets so excited When the 'good job', or 'Terrific' pops up after he's finished a lesson. When learning is fun for them, the only limit is the one you set in their device. Because you can bet your pants that's going to be one of the only ways to get them to put it down.
GraceNLewis,
Love this product
We got this for our 4 year old and she immediatly started playing. The concept of her getting virtual money to buy and upgrade virtual environments and avatars is quite a good one. And it seems to work. She very quickly showed significant progress in terms of counting and reading. We actually went and got a pad and the program for our 2 year old as well and he is pretty fascinated by it. I look forward to seeing how the learning aspect progresses for him as well. Can't say enough about the concept. In this day and age (at least for us) the "can we watch a show or play a game on your phone?" question is rather frequent. Now the kids have their own "phones" with a game that does seem to actually teach numbers and letters.
Geri Morales,
Makes learning fun for my toddler
I use this app for my 4 year old and my almost 3 year old. They absolutely love it! It makes learning fun and something to forward to. It has learning games as well as fun imaginative games so your child won't lose interest. A lot of the characters are customizable which my girls love so they each have their own experience in the app. Montessori Numbers & Counting always has an awesome deal going on to make it affordable for everybody and it is definitely worth every penny. It can be used on the computer, phone, or tablet which makes it virtually accessible from anywhere! This is the best learning app we've tried and I'm so glad I tried it!
Patricia Anthony,
A good learning tool, and fun.
This is a very interesting way to teach numbers. It has some games which are a little too hard for my 2 year old grandson, dealing with higher numbers, but he likes playing even those. It is still possible for him to "win" even the higher level stuff by guessing at the numbers, because if you are wrong it just disappears until you are only left with the right choices. I don't know how much he is retaining, but it keeps him entertained for a long time.
AngelaJTurner,
Montessori Numbers & Counting is great!
My children have learned so much with Montessori Numbers & Counting. I can't say enough good things about it. I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old, neither of which are in school and with Montessori Numbers & Counting they are little sponges. My 5 year old the other day said "Look dad! It says 100!". I didn't know she knew numbers that high. She also learned how to write her name with another Vu Dang's app. Montessori Numbers & Counting has been nothing short of amazing! I definitely recommend it.
Arthur Munoz,
My 5 year old LOVES it!
I am currently using Math Learner: Counting Numbers to help my 5 year old with some self-directed learning and I really have nothing but good things to say about this app. The activities are all age appropriate and engaging for my child. I am very happy I chose to pay for this one. So is my kid. I love that I can track exactly what she is doing in the app as well. Really helps me know where she needs more focused academic attention from me. Very cool app - highly recommend it.
Reba Favela,
Glad I found this app
My 2 year old started playing this before he was 2. He loves it. He likes the silly and fun things it does when presenting the numbers. Between this and the other things we do he is counting and adding/subtracting. He is also recognizing how to tell which numbers come next. App works great and provides fun educational entertainment. Nothing bad to say at all. 5 Stars
DustinGarduno,
Awesome. My 2 1/2 year old can't put it …
Simply put, Awesome. My 2 1/2 year old can't put it down and the links to the next activity per number or button seem infinite, so a lot of bang for an educational kids game. Got it on the deal of the day, but would easily buy another title from them based on this experience. Great Job....
EmilyE-Hernandez,
Great for my 24-month old daughter
I got lucky and stumbled on this app when Apple had it as an app-of-the-day. This is my daughter's (24 months) favorite app! We don't let her play with the tablet often, but this app is excellent for learning to count, and has a lot of games. I would gladly pay for this type of app in the future.
