Speeds up too much at end
I was looking for something multi-sensory for multiplication facts for my kids. We had previously had Shiny Things Quick Math & loved it, but they stopped updating the apps and they no longer work.
So, I found this Math Shot Multiplication app and I liked that you write the answer in with your finger (the multi-sensory part). I did not love that you also had to shoot something between answering the questions, but I thought maybe it had some purpose. But, what happens is that the whole process speeds up as the round goes on - way too fast at the end. Combined with having to use your finger - it does not always read your answer as correct (for example, it often reads my 4 as a 1). The speed at the end makes it nearly impossible to finish the round and makes it very frustrating - which is exactly opposite of what I want for my kids. So- this app misses the mark. If they could make the speed more adjustable, it may help. Many people are now seeking multi-sensory approaches to learning and I hope the app industry catches up with the need.
