MathTables is a powerful and fun twist to learning arithmetic. With normal math problem tables you need to provide the answer to the problem. With MathTables there is a twist, both the problem and the answer are provided, you just need to match the answer to the correct problem. Math tables is perfect for any level of learning or any age of student.
MathTables is configurable to quiz you with 12, 20 or 30 problems. All the problems are generated by the iPhone and randomized so there is a virtual unlimited set of possibilities. MathTables allows you to choose individual operation types from addition, subtraction, multiplication division, squares, cubes and square roots or a combination of the above. You can also provide a range of numbers (from -99 to 99) you want to work with. Parents you will find this feature invaluable for helping younger students who need to limit the scope of problems they are currently capable of handling. Additionally, MathTables has a timer thus allowing a single student the opportunity to see if he can improve on a previous time, or even challenge a friend to a "quiz-off". Love it and great for Brain Age lovers and little tikes
It works great toggle on/off mix and match addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I like this better than choose 4 possibilities at once and even better than write in correct answer like in Brain Age. Toggle negatives on/off. Really nicely implemented.

This is an ideal way to keep your brain alert and your checkbook correct - no need to use a calculator for every day math.

square error with negative numbers
Basically I like this app. Both my 9 year old and 6 year old are practicing their math facts. As a math teacher I like the format of giving the answer and the person needs to find the problem. They were messing around and giving me hard problems. The app provided negative answers to squared negative numbers. I am pretty sure this is a mathematical no-no and the answers to these problems should, in fact be positive.

Great customer support and updates!
I emailed Palaware to recommend adding the capabilities for negative numbers (for my PreAlgebra and Algebra students). Palaware emailed back within hours and had the updates done within two days. Works great and looks fabulous! I am looking forward to more of their apps.

It's great.
Let's face it, flash cards are boring. I bought this for my first grader and he really likes messing with my iPhone any way. This adds a new element of fun to practicing math.
It has a nice selection of options to customize the level of difficulty for your child. I like to give "assignments" of completing a certain number of pages/rounds.
It doesn't deserve the subtraction of a star for lack of sound, but it would be a nice addition. (oh, math humor.) A single buzzer for incorrect and a random goofy sound for correct would be neat.

A great developer and a phenomenal application
Thank you for removing the iAds, they didn't belong on a children's education application. This program is well thought out with nice graphics. It helps my children learn math. Thank you again

Math Tables
This is one of the best math applications ever--it has everything you can ask for! From 0 + 0 in addition
to 81 / 9 in division, plus so many thousands of other math problems whose middle number is anything from
10 to 99, it guarantees one thing: no two math tables displays may ever be alike!
I was told there was a problem with the square roots, but that is another option--they should have more of
the difficult ones that I can answer easily--even at the highest level!

Love it!
My kids (6 & 10) love this app. I like how you can control the numbers they get to work with and then when it gets to easy I had another number.

You should try to make the app learn from the users mistakes and focus more on the ones the user misses the most. Otherwise, fantastic application!!!
