Max-see Hack 2.9 + Redeem Codes

1. Turn on the microscope camera (blue light flashes at the end where you plug in the charger).
2. Go to WiFi settings on your smartphone.
3. Connect to unsecured network of the microscope camera. Name probably begins with Max- or something similar to that.

Now you will see you image. You will need to use the manual focus on the microscope camera to get a sharp image. Works perfectly. I’d give it a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the fact that it doesn’t give you these instructions when you first start the app. It should have a tutorial like so many apps do.

Honestly, just a little blurb that pops up when you launch the app would do wonders. I think many of the negative reviews they just didn’t know how to make it work. Anyone reading through reviews who doesn’t know how to get this going - you need to turn on the microscope to get the blue light flashing, then go to settings, wi-if on your phone and join the network being emitted by the microscope. On mine the WiFi network was called max-see 5000. Once your phone is on the microscope’s WiFi, go back to the app and there’s your image! There is some lag but some of the images I captured were so super cool! It’s really a great gizmo and app.

I have been using Max-See as part of my business for a few months with great success. Today, I took photos as usual then went to upload to google drive where I keep everything organized. The upload button force closes the app and I have no other method of saving the photos.

I went to the App Store to report a problem but this app doesn’t accept feedback through the App Store. So I went to their website. I emailed the email address on their website and received an error notification that the email doesn’t exist.

I hope this is just an oversight and the app will be back to functioning soon but not having anyway of getting support for this is very frustrating.

If you would like to play around with your child or grandchild or 3rd grade class to look at some leaves or fingernails or sand or whatever, it will work and the price is righ. I was hoping it would replace a handheld loop for actual science stuff I do for work and capture pictures. Hard no go. Another commenter mentioned the skew. He or she was spot on. I dropped it on metric graph paper without the stand and there wasn’t a square in site. It’s like when you’re looking at something on Google Earth on the slant. Also, good luck finding the picture you “take.” They don’t exist. Again, okay for getting some kids exciting about looking at some stuff, but definitely not anything beyond that.

The microscope camera is a great portable on the go tool for me as a jeweler/watchmaker, however when I click the capture files tab and click on a pic the app closes instantly and I can’t use it on my phone. I can push edit and delete the pictures but I cannot open them. I however can watch the video files. I would give more stars if I could fix the app.

This microscope works great for me using iphone and ipad, but the instructions could be better if the person who did the translating spoke better English. You have to download app. Then turn on the microscope, then connect iphone via wifi to the microscope wifi Max-see, then go back and open the app on your iphone. Then the little blue light will be on and your iphone screen will show what the microscope is pointing at.

I got this small device for Christmas. While downloading the app I got nervous that this product was a waste because of its review history. But I have to say, this thing is amazing! I can see each individual pore on my finger! The instructions are a bit odd and do not help, but it works.

First, turn on your microscope (you’ll know it’s on when a small blue light near the charge port lights up).
Second, got to Wi-Fi settings there should be a Wi-Fi signal called Max-See etc.
Third, click on it (no password required), you can then go to the app and your microscope should work.

I love this thing, you just have to know how to use it. Happy holidays!

This is amazing tho I recommend that you use an iPad or an iPhone for this as it is Much similar.

A problem I’ve found is that most devices don’t have enough resolution to zoom in to 1000x other than this, this device is amazing.

Just make sure you fully charge it for the full 3 hours :)

Installed this after product arrived. Should have stopped minute I realized you had to connect to device as a wifi connection. I used it once and a week later my online bank account was breached. I only use the mobile app and the scammers had my bank user id plus a whole ton of other information they shouldn’t have. I’m pretty sure only way they couldn’t get what they were after is because I had face enabling for passwords, so they couldn’t lift the information to get fully in.

others have claimed no instructions but they are in the booklet that comes with it. however they are scant and neglect to mention you need to allow the app to access local network else no picture even when connected to max-see wifi. there’s zero mention of the use of the + and - buttons on the underside of the device. trial and error showed they do up to 2x zoom.
the resolution button in the app seems only to apply to macos not iphone/ipad
app worked on my iphone, my ipad and my old iphone. great little device!
