Meccanoid can be programmed 3 different ways: LIM Programming, Ragdoll Programming, & Behavior Builder. Behavior Builder & Ragdoll Programming can only be activated through the Meccanoid app.

Have your Meccanoid introduce itself and ask for a handshake before telling a funny joke! Press a button on the Meccanoid’s chest to have it initiate an activity. All your previous animations can be inserted into Behavior Builder and become part of the program.
· RAGDOLL: In this mode, you can control Meccanoid’s arm and foot motors to make Meccanoid twist, turn or move any way you want.
· LEARNED INTELLIGENT MOVEMENT: Program movements and sounds by manipulating the robot like a puppet and play them back with a push of a button.

The Meccanoid app now contains help screens to guide new users in the use of the app with the Meccanoid robot. These help screens will appear when the user opens the app for the first time and enters each individual screen. Additionally the user can tap ? on the screen select menu and go to the help screen. From there the user can tap on any screen from the list on the help page and see the help pages for the screen selected.
Additionally the Meccanoid app is also translated into various languages. To see the app in the language you would like, the device itself needs to be set to that language. These new languages include:

Please fix battery problem
This app is good and all, especially the offline mode because I can use the app even without Wi-fi. But every time I go on the app I see that the battery is low and then dies a few minutes later. Please fix this if it’s a glitch or something.

I am sorry to inform you, Meccano, but the problem others have talked about is not fixed.
My son, who has a XL 2.0, has told
me that 5 minutes upon Bluetooth connection with the MeccaNoid app, the battery dies and MeccaNoid tells us that battery is not sufficient. If this is a problem with the battery, it may be that the battery is too small to handle Bluetooth connections. Please fix, I recommend new battery as separately sold item, as a Bluetooth connections upgraded battery to handle the Bluetooth connections load. Thank you, and please fix this problem! It may not be the App, but the battery, which I think may be defective or some related problem. Thanks!

Waste of money
App is absolutely horrible. Tutorial takes a very long time to get through. Drone mode also doesn't work with the app so you cannot rebuild the Meccanoid into something new. Online it says you can but they have changed the app so it no longer supports drone mode. I would highly recommend you do not purchase this robot if you read this. Much better integration with other robots on the market.

I’m confuzzled
I can connect perfectly but it says to update it and it will give memory wipe. I’m scared about the memory wipe because I don’t know if that means that Meccanoid will be the same. Do I have to do the memory wipe or is it not an option.

It was good until you updated it..
I used to be able to connect just fine, now I can't connect without it saying I have to update it and wipe its memory! I did that and it STILL DIDNT WORK!

Doesn’t work with newer devices
I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it is not compatible when you try to connect even though the app says it should be. Would give a higher rating if they would make it compatible (this phone has been out long enough for that!).

App crashes every time after just a few minutes
We had very high hopes. The robot was fun but a lot of work to build. Now, though, the app can't get past the tutorial which is lengthy and boring. The app is the only way to program and it doesn't work. So we now have a very labor intensive, worthless robot.

This game is amazing! Yet I’d say could you be able to skip the tutorials in the offline mode and I will not like this game, I will love it.

Sound on app doesn't work
The sound on the app is so faint that I can't hear it at all with the volume all the way up. Other apps play sound fine on my phone and I can't find any settings to adjust within the app so it's unusable for us.

I HATE THE COACH. It tells me to do things I don't want to do. I know how to use the app already and then there is no skip button. I also hate how I have to wipe the memory of my robot to make it work( I did not wipe my memory) MECCANO IF YOU READ THIS I'm 13 AND IN ROBOTICS I HATE THIS NEW VERSION OF THIS APP PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
