Meet & Right is an app built to make Orthodox Christian dating a little less weird! Created for the Orthodox community and with our cultures in mind, to help our community connect anytime, anywhere.
Since our launch in 2018, our diverse, pan-orthodox community has exchanged over 1.2 million messages and made over 60,000 matches. Numerous couples have been married through Christ, which is exactly why we do what we do!
You won’t find unlimited swipes on Meet & Right, and there’s a good reason for that! We want every profile review to be as meaningful as possible. So, take your time on your bio to give your potential matches an opportunity to really get to know you. Once you match with someone, you'll be able to message each other within the app.
With Meet & Right Premium, you’ll be able to see more profiles each day, get notified when somebody likes your profile, and have access to special settings. Each package is free to try for a week.
Meet & Right does not tolerate harassment of any kind and our team works diligently to review profiles that have been reported for behaviors that cross the line. For more information, please see our code of conduct below.

I think a lot of people’s gripe with this app is the degradation of the free version. I get that the developers are ultimately running a business and that’s fine.
The biggest issue that I have is the constant notifications telling you that someone liked your profile and they’re going to be in your next stack. Guess what? They aren’t in your next stack and the only way to see them is to have a paid account.
I don’t have a problem with the devs making a buck, just don’t annoy me with constant notifications that end up being meaningless. Either include them in the stack or don’t tell me they’ll be there when they aren’t.
Now I have to choose between turning off notifications or dealing with false alarms.
Additionally, if you’re over 30, you’re going to get the “leftovers.” Not the app’s fault, but if you’re expecting to meet Queen Nefertiti or King Solomon on here, it’s not happening. Of course, YMMV.

Good Idea, Bad Execution
Been using the app for a few months now. Previous experience was not bad, but had some issues that I could live with.
The most recent update has ruined the experience. Certain free features are now locked behind a paywall. By itself this is not horrible, but when those no-longer-free features do not work as advertised, this is a big problem.
Specifically the “Previously Reviewed” feature simply does not work. It states that it will show previous profiles when there are no new profiles to see. However for the past week or so, I went from viewing 7 or 8 profiles a day to 1 a day, if I’m lucky. It’s now at the point where I would need to either view all ages (completely unreasonable) or include international profiles in my search.
I have sent a message to the support team and received no response. I understand this is a small app for a small user base, but unless the support team is receiving a deluge of complaints, it seems a bit negligent to ignore a paying customer.
The subscription packages are too expensive for this type of feature to not work properly. On principle I would demand a refund. Given the various issues the app already has, a problem like this is just not acceptable.

Please make the “About Me” section mandatory
I think it might be good if you explain that most us swipe yes based off the bio, and give tips or prompts for filling in a good one (example: “What is your relationship with God? What are some of your interests? Why are you seeking a relationship?”... etc)
I can’t tell you how many profiles I’ve seen that have little to nothing in their bio (for context I am looking at male profiles). It makes it impossible for me to swipe, because I have nothing to go on but a face (which is not something I care about). I go based off personality, but have no clue what one’s values are without a bio.

I never write reviews but felt like I needed to here. Our community desperately needed a way to connect- especially now more than ever during Covid. I met a guy on here and we are now talking off the app. I don’t know where it’ll go but I’m hopeful. I will say that it took me a couple years to actually meet someone I felt a real connection with but I don’t think that’s the apps fault. Also, the selfie verification was a game changer and made me feel better knowing I wasn’t getting catfished.

Got Marriedddddd!!!!
I finally deleted this App and all other apps because I finally found my dream through meet and right. It is unbelievable/ miracle to find everything I want virtually!!! And we finally got married after 1 year ! This app is very conservative, and true!!! I tried another Coptic Christian app but i liked meet and right more. God bless the founders of Meet and Right!

Never thought I'd be the dating app type, but randomly because of an Instagram ad I got this app. Maybe 2 months later with the app and a few failed dates I met my husband, one year into dating we were engaged, and 8 months after the engagement, we were married. Thankful I randomly decided to download this.

Absolutely horrendous
If you read nothing else, whatever you do, DONT PAY FOR THIS TRASH!!! I don’t know where to even start. First of all, the app is completely pointless if you don’t pay (2 swipes a day). Secondly, when you do pay, a decent price, it’s so bad still that it should be illegal. These guys are thieves. The app is horrible, it crashes constantly, won’t let you sign in one day, deletes your profile the next, and when you are in its functionality is so poor. Matches only show up for the second person who swipes. I mean, not everyone is meant to develop apps and these guys clearly aren’t.

First of all, we used to see only 5 people in a day! and then we have to pay to see more, which I don't care if I am actully going to see more people, but even when you pay for it you only get like 10 people the most!!!! SERIOUSLY now!!! You stealing money directly from people!

Amount of likes for free account
I really only get one like a day?! That is quite ridiculous. Bumble and Hinge allow 5 or something likes a day for the free account. I just signed up and already thinking about deleting profile. Not gonna get traffic with one like a day.. Also, I receive a like then I like that profile in return which is a match but the app does not record the match. I’ll never get a match then. Terrible app. Never using it again.
