Membit(tm) is a geolocative augmented reality application. With membit you can view augmented content exactly where it was meant to be including images, 3d objects Audio and Video. You can also add yourself to become part of the AR fun. Membit's patented Human Positioning System™ allows for markerless Augmented Reality to be used anytime, anywhere, by anyone.
To view a membit: Go to the spot shown on the map, line up your camera using the target image, click the "Here" button, and view the AR content.
To make a membit: Use the app to create a target image and put your photo back where it belongs. Record video or still images to share with your friends.

What I liked most about Membit is that you can create whatever you want completely for free. It leaves a lot of space to the imagination and creativity of the users.
It also gives them a lot of options by letting them upload photos from the gallery, 3D objects and instantaneously photos.
It definitely is a very complete app on that aspect.
One thing I would say can be a con about membit is, that new users can find it difficult to get used to the app. The controls and procedures to upload a photo or to see other membits can be a little difficult at first and users need to have the controls and procedures explained to them. In other words, it doesn’t come 100% natural.
However, once you get used to the app it is very easy and fun! :)

Works like a charm!
The best thing about this app is that it actually works compared to multiple similar apps that failed to do this. The only thing that is holding this app from being a 5 star would be the design aesthetics and overall visuals.

Fantastic technology
Membit is incredible, and can be used to leave pictures for others, view content (like artwork), and even see historical photos- all by simply walking around!

Lots of fun! My grandson has gone home, but still sits in the little rocker; I can see my great-uncle's campus photo posted right where he took it in 1896; and I can look at this year's spectacular backyard flowers anytime I want.
