Great practice if you’re sick of not being able to calculate how much to tip
I’m a physics major, so I’ve taken many many many math classes. But in school, it’s been a long while since I’ve used actual numbers. Maybe a number or two will appear in an equation once in a while, but I do very little of this type of sum.
However, these things are incredibly useful to know. Finding the price per unit in a grocery store, estimating how much papaya will cost, how much should you tip, or those rare occasions when you need to calculate something in school and you don’t have a calculator because (like I just said) you almost never need a calculator. Arithmetic is a super useful life skill, and this app is great at helping you practice. It’s like a video game, but way more useful.

This app is perfect at what it is meant to do but I think it has a lot more potential.
I would like to see a feature where you could write the smallest digit column first instead of the largest so that I could answer in a way that was more natural to how I do mental math. In other words backwards from how you normally input numbers on a calculator.
Using the count down is a good feature but I do wish there was a way to hide the timer.
Lastly, more options for memorizing different math rules, such as rules of sin, cos, tan etc.
The developer seems very committed to his patrons, open to suggestions and responded quickly to my feedback email saying that he would try and add trig functions to a future update.
This is what I believe makes this the best mental math learning app. A single person or a small team building software to empower users at a fair price who engage with their community of users to provide the best experience possible.

Extremely Helpful Developer
The app's really great, but what I really appreciate is the customer support. I get really helpful replies right away every time. I'm completely blind and the app works well for me, but the developer still said he'll add the features I requested to the next update. I can't explain how rare it is for software developers in general to do that, so I really appreciate it.
Another cool thing is that I learned how to multiply decimals without converting them to fractions by using this app, which is honestly something I should've learned a long time ago in school, but whatever. The next day, I had to multiply two decimals in my biochemistry class. It was really easy, thanks to this app.

I loved this mental math app so much (still do dw), it helped strengthen my math skills and increased my speed by a lot since I did it repeatedly everyday. This app made me so happy as I improved so much but I just really dislike the new update with the over complicated looks. It’s really nice how there’s more options but I feel it’s too overwhelming especially when creating new quizzes for yourself. Also during the quiz there are new dings and the display is just too distracting. I personally feel like it’s easier to learn math with everything being and looking simpler rather than complicating and annoying. I still love this app so much and will continue using it to help me with my mental math ♥️

Business goals
I love the people side of business and that’s where I’ve focused most of my career. But the language of business really is math. And I wanted a way to sharpen my math skills. I needed A way to practice that would be easy to use, accessible, and sticky so I could really develop and master my math skills to be a better business woman. This App has been all that and more. My kids use it too and we highly recommend.

Great Mental Math Practice
I’ve only used the free portion so far and it’s been very helpful for my mental math practice. I’ve been improving my speed and accuracy every week and see there will be a point when I’ll want the pro version. I would suggest adding some mental math training segments to the app such has how to quickly do mental math and get to an expert level.

Make this app a habit and it will pay dividends
I have been using this app to develop mental math speed as I work in a quantitative field. Fully believe it has given me an edge when I needed it. Having sharp mental math ability is a huge confidence boost. If math was boxing— this app is like a great coach working the pads.

I wish you guys would add a global leaderboard
I want to be able to compare myself against how well others do with the same competitive exercise just to see where I measure myself against averages & the outliers who either perform poorly or beyond average. That would be awesome! Every thing else is cool just make the subscription free.

Great App
Fantastic app for practicing math. Lots of customizability. Only 4 stars because sometimes behaves buggy when selecting exercise types before a new test. Especially gets buggy when selecting exercise types with nested menus like fractions, decimals, and mixed operations. Either way, love this app and with a few simple bug fixed would be a 5/5.

To be honest I am not the type of person that likes calculation games but lately a lot of younger family members know them better than me and plus we use calculators which decreases our quick math knowledge so I wanted to give it a try and it’s actually not bad sorry I mean beyond amazing
