Description
Mesonn is a simple lap counting app for skaters. This app can be used for skate-a-thon events and roller derby practice.
The skate-a-thon option allows you to manually track the number of laps a skater completes in a given time period. You can set that time period to anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hours.
The roller derby options is designed to allow you to manually track the number of laps a skater completes around a regulation WFTDA roller derby track in 5 minutes. The 27 in 5 skill tests a skater's speed, endurance, and proper skating technique in able to complete 27 or more laps in 5 minutes. In addition to 27 in 5, you can also track the total number of laps completed in 1 minute and 35 seconds (for derby referees) or in 13 seconds (for jammers).
Once the skate session has begun, tapping the Lap button manually counts the total number of laps skated within the selected time. The user can, pause, resume the current session, or cancel and reset the counter to start again from the beginning. At the end of the skate session, the total number of laps the skater has completed is displayed.
