Version 7.4

Golf app to provide score keeping for the round for from 1 to 6 players. It also provides the scoring interface for the MGO-Outings and MGO-League apps for group and tournament golf. The app will update the handicaps of golfers with a GHIN number (as an in App Purchase) and keep the history for 25 previous rounds. The app will also email the final round results for handicap posting. The app can send the scores by email or by peer to peer communications to the MGO-League app.

The app also provides hole by hole Quota points if you are playing in a quota group.

You can calculate full strokes or net strokes for the playing group.

You can now also display a scorecard facsimile for the round to check scores for the group.

The app provides for play from different tees for players in the group with the handicaps adjusted by 2020 USGA standards.

The app now provides "Live Scoring" when combined with MGO-League.

GHIN Update is now a monthly subscription for $.99. You must have a valid GHIN Number to use this feature.

Updated App for 2020 changes to handicap calculations by USGA and WGA. The new calculation requires that the course rating be taken into the calculation as it relates to par. The new calculation is: (handicap Index x slope rating / 113) + (course rating - par). Also changed the methodology for Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) to meet the new rules from the USGA. The new maximum score under ESC is a net double bogey.

Changed the Course setup to include up to four sets of tees. You will enter the tee name, slope and handicap rating for each set of tees. This will then be used at player selection time to set the playing slope and rating by player. This conforms with the ability of MFO-League where different players in the group can play from different tees.

Added the option to use USGA Equitable Stroke Control. This sets the maximum strokes allowed on a hole based on the player’s course handicap. This is selected the “Game Parameters Screen”.
