Floating is fun!!
Wow! What a fun and relaxing game. Floating through space, dodging aliens, listening to an amazing soundtrack.... What a blast!!

Wow, man! Simple, fun, challenging, and RELAXING!
At first glance, this game can seem ‘hokie.’ But let me tell you - there is a ZEN found in the essence of Microgee. The controls can take a bit of getting used to and they can be frustrating. However, this is what keeps the game interesting and fun. After a bit of effort and patience this game opens up a whole new world for the player.
HERE IS THE BEST PART: the soundtrack. What an incredible journey provided by the melodies and rich movements of the score. The longer you play - even if you do not survive - the better the music gets. It is gorgeous, fluid, calming, intelligent, and entrancing. And best of all, it is appropriate. I actually feel like I am in a dream in space...SPECTACULAR! So relaxing and peaceful and perfect for unwinding at the end of a stressful day. Love this music - better than 95% of other games that cost millions to develop.
The graphics are extremely indie and grassroots in nature. I feel like I have been transported back to the days when video games were LIFE, and if I don’t survive and get to the end of the level - I have failed the universe! Wait until you see what happens when you run headlong into one of the enemies or obstacles...SO MUCH FUN TO SEE.
Gameplay is not easy. It takes quite a bit of practice (I still have not mastered) but after a decent amount of playing - you get used to the gravity (or lack thereof) and progressing through the course becomes easier - and much more fun! One of my favorite things about Microgee is that even when you die, you are not forced back to the beginning of the level and made to repeat the same things over and over and over. EVERYTIME YOU DIE YOU GET A RANDOM AREA OF CHALLENGES. This keeps every attempt new and fresh. Collecting coins for buying new helmets is a nice addition to the challenges that exist in surviving. DONT BE DISCOURAGED - IT DOES GET EASIER TO PLAY VERY QUICKLY!
I don’t want to spoil all the surprises, so I will say that this game is a sleeper. I have found so much enjoyment in the simplicity that I have discovered a wonderfully inventive and frighteningly relaxing brand of entertainment in this game. I can’t wait to earn the other helmets to see what funky additions come with them. I purchased the Viking helmet and what happens during gameplay was so much fun! GET THE VIKING HELMET.
