Odoo’s Social Marketing Module (www.odoo.com/page/social-marketing) is a great platform for social media campaigns. It connects for posts to various third party services like twitter ©, linkedIn ® , FaceBook ® via their standard API. Yet, Odoo lacks the possibility to directly post messages and obtain direct feedback to/from smartphone users. Having a direct communication with potential customers, customers, members, staff, etc. helps marketing & campaign managers to get their messages to the right people the right way and obtain instant feedback, making their work more effective. The Midar App enables this experience.
Midar App users can directly receive posts on the message area on the lock screen, ensuring top attention. With a click, they can provide feedback (likes, dislikes, comments, and ratings) or can even reply by sending pictures, selfies, documents (e.g. PDFs) or stream videos. All members within the same campaign, fostering social exchange, can then see all feedbacks. Midar App users can also be sure that their data is only be shared with the campaign they participate as there is no third party intermediary who may use data for his own purposes.
Users need to enroll with the Email-Address prior to fist use and will receive an OTP to this Email-Address to unlock for security reasons. Odoo campaign managers can configure re-stricted or open access campaign groups.
The Midar app uses a live XML-RPC connection to the Odoo Instance and is provided as a service by Digital Advisory Group, Zurich, Switzerland (www.digitaladvisorygroup.io)
