Mila Tools is an essential app in a world of multiple measurement standards

I encounter a variety of English Standard and Metric bolts and liquid measurements, and temperature settings. Given a tray full of wrenches, it helps to know that 13 mm and 19 mm are close enough to half inch and three quarters of an inch that the slightly larger will do the job. Recipes for volumes come in international measurements. With temperatures, Fahrenheit seems more precise but centigrade is useful for a wider range.
if an energy source provides BTU/hour, I can find the KW and HP potential which is useful in sizing and rating power generators.
I also appreciate the ability to use fractions within conversions.
So, I consider Mila’s Tools essential .

Super useful, spectacular app.

I am a journeyman elevator constructor. Our company uses the metric system for everything, including speed. The governing authority, in our case it’s the Indiana Department of Homeland Security wants everything in Imperial. I have to make detailed reports for both our company and the state, this app makes it painless. I have used this app for multiple years now and absolutely love it. The mm/s unit that was added on the last revision was at my request. I have all of my homey’s using it now also. Thank you very much Mr. Software Developer guy, as you have made my life easier. Every little bit helps.

This app is excellent. Been using it for years...

This app is excellent. Been using it for years whenever I need a conversion, be it temperature, distance, volume, rate of speed.. any conversion you could possibly need! Precise and very simple to use. This utility app would be in my top 15 easy. No complaints! I’d recommend Mila’s Tools app to anyone and everyone!! By the way, I hardly ever write app reviews, am a retired biologist, avid hiker, and enjoy cooking and trying recipes from other countries, most of which, use metric measurements. That is only three of the ways I use Mila’s Tools😊.

Great customizable app

Really appreciate the available customization options that are not given in other apps (removing certain units, like UK pints for a user in US, or a whole category, like capacitance or torque). This allows to custom tweak the app for a child, who is learning to cook and needs to convert oz to tbsp without getting lost in a long list of categories. For future feature development, it would be nice to have abbreviations included in the search. E.g., typing in “lbs” presently gives no search results, it only understands “pounds”. Otherwise, excellent app!

Always there

Gave a review over a year ago and still love this app used to use a program on the computer but I had to stop what I was doing to find it and do my conversions this is easy and always ready and as long as my phone is charged and with me so is this app. My Grandfather liked the older conversions one day and kept testing the app on measurements he used when he was young we got a kick out of that one but the app passed his test also.

Great for Seniors

I am a senior and the short term memory gets a little crazy at times; but this is a great tool for doing little things around the house that require measurements. I really like it. If I had any complaints, there would only be 1 small one-just make it a little more colorful. Admit it or not, people love beauty. It is a wonderful tool, nevertheless. I might add that the metric system was not as popular in our day as it is now. I absolutely love this app. Njs

Doesn’t work with new iPhones

Had this for years. Worked great until I upgraded my iPhone 8 to iPhone 11. Now the table will not scroll at all. I’ve tried contacting the developer Scott with no response and I did this a month ago when I upgraded my phone. Looking at his app on the App Store, I see that many have had the same issues from the very beginning when iPhone 11 came out. His app has not been updated for at least 2 years! Don’t waste your time or money. Get another app that works and promote a developer who cares enough to listen and hear their customer. It’s a shame since I did live this app and has helped me on numerous occasions. Too bad he just let it go. I want my money back please!!!

Great developer and app

I like this app a lot! It’s convenient, straight forward, and doesn’t require a lot of steps. I needed an app that would quickly calculate fractions, this app didn’t have that function. I wrote to the developer and asked him if he was going to add this function, he responded quickly to my email. Within a couple weeks he had written back to me to let me know that fractions was now included in the app. That’s great customer service!

One of the Most Useful Apps!

i have used this app many times and it's not only extremely useful, but it's also very visually appealing and easy to use. i feel it's the fastest way, at least for me, to convert units. Being an app developer myself, i have to say the developer of this app did a marvelous job and i can only hope to be this good one day. Thank you so much for this app! Update: Just bought the currency converter app by this developer!

Outstanding App - Quick, Simple. My Favorite...

I searched long and hard to find an App like this. I used it frequently when I still ran a small technology-based company, but I'm a lot more dependent on it now. I retired in April 2015 and was confronted with tasks I didn't expect. My Mila's Tools App is getting a lot more use now, particularly because I promised my wife to learn how to cook! Spend the small amount for the extra features. It's a bargain.
