With MilePost you'll get daily running quotes for a little extra inspiration and motivation to keep up with your training!
Our aim is to help give you that extra little boost to keep the habit going. Features include:
• A daily quote that is about running
• Configurable reminders to view your daily quote
• Collection of customizable background photos
• Show a random background photo from the collection each day
• Choose a specific background photo to display all the time
• Choose your own backgrounds photos
• Customize background photos - apply filters, adjust contrast, brightness
• Save quotes you like (available on iPhone, iPod)
• Backup saved quotes and photos to iCloud (available on iPhone, iPod)
• Quote of the day widget (requires premium subscription)
• Remove Ads (requires premium subscription)
• Save as Quote Wallpaper (requires premium subscription)
MilePost is free to download and use. We also have a Premium subscription at $1.99/year which removes all Ads and unlocks the premium features noted above.
If you choose to subscribe, your Premium subscription will automatically renew each year and will charge your credit card through your iTunes account.

• Add your own quotes! Tap on the compose button in the lower right-hand corner, to enter and save your own quotes. You can add quotes for any of our existing authors, or you can add new ones. By default, any quotes added will only be viewable by you.
• Hashtags! When you come across a quote you love, hashtag it! It will be saved to your favorites and be easier to find later. Tap on the heart button in the toolbar to add hashtags. #favequote
• If tagging quotes when saving interrupts your flow, you can turn it off! Your saved quotes will automatically go to #favequotes. From the Settings page in the app, tap on Tagging, and switch "Select Tags When Saving Quotes" to off.
• With the introduction of hashtags, we've updated how you access your favorites. Previously saved quotes will automatically be tagged with #favequote. Tap on the bookmark button in the navigation bar to view them.

Prompt response in response to an issue
I’ve been using this app for quite a while and recently it started showing the same quote every day. I emailed the developer who responded the same day and told me how to fix it. It’s working fine now and I appreciate the quick reply to my email.

Deleted all my favorites
The app used to be my favorite. Now it’s just repetitive and deleted my favorites with the new update for ads. I don’t think it will be on my phone much longer. The only positive with the update was it shows the quote now without opening the app.

Good idea
The idea of this app was great! However, the quotes could be better. I look forward to receiving my quote hoping it will be better than yesterday’s. If the quotes were better I would love this app! But the amount of inspiration I get from them is lacking:(

Sharing doesn't always work
I love this app - I look forward to my daily running quote and I love sharing the ones I really like.
The problem is that sometimes sharing on Twitter doesn't work because the quote is truncated due to the character limit and instead if taking you to the full quite, the link is currently taking you to the main app page. It's frustrating because I end up losing the quote that I wanted to save/share.
A workaround is to favorite the quote and then share it from the favorites because then it's posted as a graphic but it would be nice if sharing directly from the quote worked all the time.
