This is such an amazing book, especially considering that it's free. It's an 8 page interactive e-book, with a darling storyline about a very special dog named Millie. It has the option to have the story read to you or you can read it on your own. It also has a "bedtime mode" which means that it dims the screen and lowers the sound. Although it's only 8 pages long, each page has an interactive feature, which are all very cute and engaging. My 10 year old and 8 year old boys like finding the hidden "stickers" and my 1.5 year old daughter loves the music and Millie herself. The music, sound effects, and narrator's voice are all top-notch. Overall, you won't be disappointed with this book! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

Meet Millie
I'm a Speech Therapist who works with a variety of children with specials needs and other speech problems. My students and I absolutely loved this cute interactive book. Even some of my slightly older students loved the book as well. They all enjoyed the games and the pop-up interactivity and were easily able to manage the controls even with diminished fine-motor control. The book was great for encouraging language development and it really held their interest. My students would ask me if we could read "Meet Millie" on my IPad every time I saw them. This app series is fantastic! I shared it with my little brother and sister and they adored the interactive features and graphics. They laughed and giggled through the whole thing. If you have kids, this is a must-have application for your iPad. I can't wait to see more from these guys!
I should also note that my sister was recently diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, and she found the story very engaging. It was a great way for us to bond, read, and share time. I plan on showing Millie to her therapist and teachers so they can recommend it to other kids and parents.

Great educational and fun app
Millie is terrific. The story is great for kids (I'd say under ten), and the pop-up book idea is used in a bunch of creative, fun ways. You can read the story or have the iPad read to you, and there are hidden treats and surprises throughout that will keep your kids' attention. This app made Apple's "new and noteworthy" for a reason. It's the best kind of learning: the kind that sneaks up on a kid so he doesn't even know it's happening!

This is a very enjoyable book which demonstrates the abilities of the ipad. Could it be possible to allow the listener to repeat the reading on each page? Kids tend to explore the "touch games" first before actually listening to the story. When the child is done exploring the page, it would be nice to be able to have it repeated.

Fun, ebook app - my cousins loved it!
I have a a 4 year old niece and a 9 year old nephew - both love to play with my iPad. Downloaded Meet Millie and read it with both of them and they absolutely loved it!!!
The stickers were fun to find and all the interactive parts made for an exciting story time. I will definitely have to check out the next book too! Millie is the cutest. Can't wait to read more.

Millie and all her adventures
All the Millie books are so adorable not only for kids but especially for adult pet owners too. In fact perhaps you need to be a pet Mom or Dad to truly appreciate all of Millie's adventures and escapades. Truly entertaining and money for the app goes to rescue other animals. As a 2nd grade teacher I have shared all of the Millie books with the children in my class.

I loved this book. I am a special education teacher and I would definitely recommend Millie to others. Great for all ages (adults and children all enjoyed it!) There are exciting graphics and interesting pop-ups that keep the children engaged throughout the story. Interested in seeing what millie's next adventure will be!

I thought Millie was wonderful!! I'm looking forward to sharing with my 21 month old grand daughter. Even if she shows no interest at her age I will enjoy reading just for myself....it's just cute!! I will keep this app for a very long long time. For all my grandchildren to come. I will be looking for more of Millie's books to download....
