Alt Text support is here!
You can now write alt text for any image in Recent Uploads. Tap on an image. Write the text. Hit Save. This is attached to the export snippet at the time of export.
- It supports both export options, Markdown and HTML.
- It can be filtered in the Recent Uploads with the filter button on the top right.
- Not familiar with Alt Text? The editor includes a short summary with links to more information.
- As part of this Recent Uploads has been redesigned to show every image in proper aspect ratio and with an indicator to show whether it has alt text attached.

- You can now change the size of images you upload to any size you like, or continue using the existing three options which remain unchanged. You can also change the JPG compression quality. These features can be found in the redesigned Image preferences screen in Settings -> Image.

Select and switch the upload blog to any of your Micro.blog hosted blogs. The selected blog is shown at the top of the main screen where you can press and hold to switch quickly. You can also switch the blog in Settings. The app remembers your setting.

Must have for micro.blog
This app transforms how you can use micro.blog and makes it super easy to upload groups of photos. I use this app frequently when traveling or events. Not only is it fast but it is very reliable and it is super easy to share the markdown or HTML to an app like Drafts to complete the post. 🤩

More flexible use of photos
This makes makes photos uploaded to micro.blog way easier to reuse. I love that the alt text, if entered using Mimi, is saved for later too. The app also makes it dead easy to avoid the default micro.blog resizing and compression for photos. If you photo blog with micro.blog, this is the app to get. I only miss not being able to send a copy of a photo to Mimi via the Sharesheet.
