Actually great
I downloaded this game expecting just a cheap plain minesweeper, maybe with a theme or something. I was very surprised once I started playing. The adding of levels makes it fun, and the custom shapes for stages creates interesting and new kinds of edge case logic. The game runs very smoothly and handles ads more tastefully than I’ve seen in a decade (they’re short and not often or intrusive). This game also (I don’t know if by design or not) solves the problem of minesweeper being fundamentally unbeatable in some cases by offering power ups, and the tower power is hard enough and has enough stakes that the first couple of times I played it was actually thrilling and exhilarating because it forces You to take risks in order to keep going but there is an entire tower of progress on the line if You are too rash or get unlucky. Super fun — if You like minesweeper and are willing to be open minded about a fresh approach, I think You’ll like this.
Ps. Only thing I don’t care for much is the hexagonal mode (there’s just not a lot of logic that can be done with it), but I appreciate the inventiveness and I like that level selection always gives enough options to avoid hexagon levels

Best minesweeper game out there, hands down
This is the only minesweeper game I play, but it’s not because its the first I’ve tried. I’ve tried so many, but the others all have the same issue: it’s the same old format from Microsoft days, with the same amount of mines, same puzzle shape.
Not this one!
Not only are there hundreds of puzzles to solve, they all have unique shapes, and when you’ve finished a collection of puzzles, you can go back and play six variations of each puzzle. It’s essentially endless. Also, there’s a new mode where it’s a hex shaped tile instead of square, to shake it up a little. Not to mention the addition of power ups to help you through tough levels. And you’re thinking, well, that means the coins you need to buy them are scarce, right? NOPE! You can not only earn enough coins to unlock new collections easily, there are plenty left over to buy power ups as needed. And, you can also uncover power ups and coins as you open new parts of each puzzle.
There are parts of the game that have to be bought, but I’ve never spent a penny and still have so much left to complete. This game is incredible.

The fans need more game
This is one of the most fun and intuitive minesweeping games that I’ve played in recent memory, both in terms of the control style and the quest-like theme. My favorite part of it all was completing the boxes and unveiling the pictures below…until I ran out of them. “Collection” is right there in the title, after all.
It should be so easy to draw up new sets of objects to keep my curiosity, and I even have a few ideas for categories if you get stuck:
-In Town(main story): Barrels&Boxes, Pottery, Trees, Livestock, Signage, Townsfolk, Furniture.
-To the Castle(main story): Entry Hall, Guardroom, Kitchen, Atelier, Garden, Throne Room, Treasure Room.
-Nine Dungeons(hardcore story): Entrances, Staircases, Doorways, Statuary, Traps, Magic Keys, Boss Battle, Relics of Power.
-Inventory(normal extra): Hammers, Potions, Candles, Dolls, Knives, Sprockets, Wands, Ropes.
-Treasure(normal extra): Coins, Gold Piles, Gems, Gold Statuettes, Jeweled Statuettes, Miscellaneous.
(The rest are hardcore extra)
-World: Countries, Landmarks, People, Animals, Buildings, Events, Cuisine, Snacks.

Charming design, excellent music, no pay for items
I have always liked Minesweeper, I don’t know why it took me this long to get an app for it. I tried this app because it has the classic Minesweeper skin, but also looked like it was trying something of its own too.
It’s got a great look, runs smooth, and the music is really good. I like the inclusion of a hexagonal Minesweeper, and the many items which are all bought without real money.
I believe this dev has found a fair price for premium, and even free to play is painless because the ads are one every few rounds and it’s a 5 second skip.

All great except for online content
Everything about this game is flawless. I love playing all the modes and clearing through so many uniquely shaped levels helps to spice up the gameplay where normal minesweeper can’t (though that’s still there if you want). My only gripe with the game is how much of a slog it feels to play on the huge online boards. Whenever you clear something or mark a mine, you have to wait for it to actually register and this wait can last for a few seconds. It isn’t bad at first but once it starts happening every few turns, it makes the usually quick and smooth gameplay into a slog. Hopefully this can be fixed soon so there isn’t as much waiting needed to be done in online play

Fun game, great music
I really like traditional mine sweeper but that always get boring after awhile. This keeps it fresh with a-lot of cool new mechanics, power ups, modes to unlock etc. The game play can still get a little repetitive but heck if it didn't it wouldn't be minesweeper. I also bought the premium version i think its worth it to support the devs and the new game skins are cool. However I would recommend they make the online mode free though so that the player-base would be a bit larger. Also the music is very good and relaxing, fits perfect with the pixel style.

What Fun
I’ve been playing this game for decades ( minesweeper I mean not this particular version of it ) and this one is the best. It’s supposed to be strictly logical, no guessing, but it never really is. The devs for this version say so up front and provide power ups to get you over the ambiguous moves. You don’t have to use them, but they’re available.
The eight-bit graphics are entirely appropriate for this classic game, and the “pets” are a hoot. ( a sand worm ! ). And you can just pay for it and skip the ads; I really wish more games gave players that choice.

TLDR: All the good parts of minesweeper, far less of the bad. Worth a download.

It’s a bit cheap depending on who you ask, but if you’re left with only a 50/50 guess, the game will consider the board cleared if you correctly mark all the mines rather than requiring you reveal all safe tiles. Maybe I’ve just played minesweeper games that were too simple before - but removing the guesswork at the very end makes this easy to recommend.

Excellent game - Online problems?
I love everything about this app. It’s really fun, and the ads are not in your face every 5 seconds (although I did go for premium, it’s a small price to support the devs). Lots of good variations, levels, and things to collect. For anyone experiencing a lot of delay in Online mode (“Loading” appearing too often), try restarting your device.

Great game
So, I enjoyed the game enough to buy premium. Initially I had an issue with it loading premium, but was able to download it 24 hours later. Even without premium, there is a wide variety of content to unlock, from pets, tower games, etc. Ads are not very intrusive with normal game play. Nice job!
