Some nice ideas and implementation but annoying details to work through
Nice clean Interface and training ideas, but if you’re an American you’re going to have to get over some unusual choices for photos. I had to simply memorize them the way the developer intends us to, and move on.
For example I sent this to Support but never heard back:
Sauce -- shows more strawberry than sauce, and chocolate is not a common "sauce"
Waste -- shows a typical holder of waste rather than actual waste
Sour -- shows a lemon, which has a sour taste in the juice, but on a big list of nouns having a photo represent a "taste" is inconsistent. Perhaps a face with a sour expression is better
Ice -- Americans think of ice cubes from the fridge, not ice crystals that are hard to see on the phone photo
Tea -- Americans almost never drink tea out of a clear glass jar. Looks more like honey
Ham -- looks more like a cut of beefsteak than the way ham is often prepared
Arrow -- very clearly NOT an arrow. That is what is called a "Dart"
Team -- would be better if one at the top was not red and all the others white, making us think of the individual at the top, not the whole “team”
Door -- more of a cartoon of a door, or a toy, than a typical door. Very few people have blue doors
Douche -- Not a good word for American English.
Nut -- most people think of walnuts, pecans, cashews, etc. NOT coconuts
Weiner -- the word is singular, so the photo should show just one
Nail -- the word is singular, the photo should show just one
Ink -- should just show the inkwell, NOT the pen
Knob -- Americans think of the device that opens a door as a knob. The photo is of a "button"
Moss -- looks more like "sprouts" or soemthing. Moss is usually seen as a green growth at the base of a tree or on a rock.
Mommy -- would be better if the mother was the focal point of the mommy picture, not the baby
Match -- word is singular, the photo should be
Rat -- the photo is very clearly what americans consider a "mouse". The grey Norway rat is what we envision as a rat
Rome -- the photo is of a dome-like building shape used in many governmental buildings in the world. Better an image a thing in Rome that has a distinctive shape that is unique looking on a 15x15 millimeter image
Rock -- word is singular, image should be of just one
Robe -- photo shouldn't include the face of a person as the focal point
Light -- of all the 1,000,000 of classic, real, day-to-day lights we all see, why choose a photo of an imaginary one coming off of the thumb that barely shows the light part?
Lamb -- word is singular, image should just be of one
Jewel -- tough one. Image is too close to "gem", another 2-number word
Judge -- Americans think of images of people who serve the role of judge, Not a statue of a Greek goodess of judgment
Sheaf -- tough one, but a sheaf of papers is more pertinent to modern lifestyle
Ship -- Very unusual ship. A typical "ship" would be an ocean liner or warship. Your image is very clearly a "ferry"
Okra -- outright wrong. That is not what okra looks like. Okra is green. Your image is of a pepper
Cook -- your image is of a hat. A "cook" is either the person who cooks (in which case a person wearing the hat with an apron makes sense) or it is a verb to cook (in which case a person in the act of cooking say on a pan at a stove.
Fuse -- the image is of an obscure type of fuse few non-auto-mechanics see. A classic 1960s "breaker box" fuse would make more sense
Foot -- Word is singular, photo should show just one. A ballet-position posed photo of 2 feet with a flower as the focal point is especially misleading
Foam -- Image is of "bubbles". Foam is generally white and the bubbles in foam are too small to see.
Fig -- Maybe that is an image of a fig, but most would think of cactus rather than fig
Fife -- To Americas a fife is a small wooden flute. The image is of a "pipe"
Fob -- The image is of a "watch". Fob is hard, but the image is not good.
Bat -- sure that might be a bat, but Americans generally think of bats in flight, where we might see their distinctive wings
Bone -- A bone alone is much better than a bone in a bowl
Pool -- too much going on, especially for a small photo on a phone. The image very well could be a beach coastline.
Pub -- image is of spigots to pull beer. A pub image would better show the front of a pub establishment on a city street.
