Just a free download, and you're proficient in any of the 14 (English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Greek, Turkish, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Romanian) languages we currently support. You don't believe it?
Well, you shouldn't. MnemoLingo is not Gandalf (or Dumbledore, for you HP folks). So just forget the above.
What it is however, is a really handy little app, which will help you learn the most important words of the language you choose. You'll be able to pick a topic (Man & Family, House & Hobby, City & Traveling, Eating, Work & Education, World of Animals, Plants & Garden, Geography & Weather, Verbs to Know, Adjectives to Know), start a game you prefer, and collect points. For these points, you can get new fun games. And before you know it, you've learned a bunch of new words. Sounds good? Well, it's not over yet:
You'll soon figure out that there is whole new way to learn the words you want: you can start a course in MnemoLingo!
Don't worry, you won't have to go anywhere. There are no teachers, bullies, stolen lunch-boxes, exams or cheerleaders around (though this last one is a bummer, admittedly). What you do have, is two weeks. Two weeks to learn as many words as you can, by completing one really fun test every day. MnemoLingo will use it's Skynet like sophisticated algorithm to figure out what words you need to test again in any given day, and if you do well, and don't skip too many days (we've got notifications for you, don't sweat), you'll learn a lot of new words in a very short time.
You'll also get achievements, so you can show your friends how good you are. Or bad. It's kind of up to you. MnemoLingo will not laugh at you. It may zap you with a few electric bolts here and there, but it won't hurt much.
So just to summarize for all you 3 people still reading this: you'll have a lot of fun with MnemoLingo, which will lead to you learning new words.

Convenient but could be improved
I find the app easy to use for vocabulary improvement. however it could be improved by including articles with nouns in corrections. Also, the optional tests do not use the same vocabulary as the routine exercises and thus are unnecessarily frustrating.

Wish I could import words from dictionary
I've been using the Bitnights Czech dictionary for a long time and have built up a list of words that I want to study and hoped this app would do that for me, but didn't. Overall the app looks okay but the word lists are expensive and mostly contain words I don't need to learn. I'd rather pay $7 up front for the app and put together my own word lists than waste a bunch of time on words I already know.

Used to be good; now terrible
The old version was pretty good. This new version has so many glitches: it doesn't tally properly so you can never finish a level; it doesn't tell you how far you've progressed through each level; it doesn't test you on the genders--truly sad because this could be such an amazing app with just a few tweaks. I hope someone actually reads these reviews.

Love a game that enhances languages!
It may not be Tetris but it sure does make me crave more. Love the ability to learn a new language and to freshen up on others. Definitely recommend this to everyone!!!
