Best Wrestling GM game of all time
If you’re passionate about wrasslin, specifically the aspect of booking matches, rivalries, and pay-per-views, this is the game you’re looking for. It’s fun, original, and it gives you a toy box full of a variety of wrestlers, match types, and segments that allow you to build a wrestling promotion to your liking. The support team is also extremely helpful and responsive, and I get the feeling that the creators of this game created it with hardcore wrestling fans in mind, which I think is very cool. The micro-transactions offered are interesting and helpful but not necessary to one’s enjoyment of the game. For example, one could acquire currency through gameplay with relative ease or they could purchase it in the shop, but it never feels like a hassle to earn game cash if you don’t want to spend a few bucks on a mobile game. All in all, one of my favorite wrestling games ever and total addiction that is slowly ruining my life.

Real fun, one suggestion
A fun game that can kill time & be relaxing, challenging, & rewarding at the same time. Real testament to the care put into the details of the game. One suggestion I have is to allow wrestlers to be used in multiple segments. Wrestlers cut promos & wrestle matches in the same night a ton (unless they’re in a skit that injures them or something). But, to counter-balance, incorporate an overexposure feature. If you continuously book the same wrestler in multiple segments too often, they can become overexposed, diminishing their star power & draw. It would prevent abuse of booking the most popular star in every segment every week & cheesing good segment ratings. Just a suggestion, but the game in totality is worth investing time in as you see your roster grow & your shows becoming better.

So much fun for this 80s Kid!
Grew up during pro wrestlings greatest era. This version of Mania Wrestling is better than the 80s Mania due to the graphics and being able to see the events play out. If 80s Mania could add this feature that would be epic! Modern Mania could add the uniqueness of 80s Mania that each character has like voices rather than just saying the name.
Also the store should update every 8 hours rather than 12. It’s also too easy to get all regions “hot” and I have only had limited wrestlers in basic areas as my shop has only updated ONCE.
Overall I have 5 stars as it takes from 80s Mania and enhances it with being able to see the action play out.

Fun original concept
Props to the devs, this and 80’s are a blast to play. My only problem and it’s more of an issue with gaming in this new age is the ridiculous gotcha mechanics.
Don’t be fooled this is absolutely a gotcha game in regards to purchasing new wrestlers, gimmicks, venues and match types. I have no issue spending money and in fact probably spent around the $75 mark on this and well over $100 on 80’s. Not sure if it’s a new update but now even still having two hundred wrestlers still available to find, I get a rotation of about 8 (3 at a time) all in which I don’t want to spend my coin on. Make dailies truly random so their are chances of purchasing cards you’re looking for. For daily cards, random this is absolutely not and seems dirty the way it forces you to purchase cards to unlock other opportunity’s to purchase different ones. This is a massive flaw and once I came across a week or so ago had no desire spending another dime or put time into the game.
Doubt they care, they gotcha already and will continue to get plenty more in the future. Just wish gaming didn’t ever come to this

Best wrestling GM mode out there
If you are remotely interested in pro wrestling or reminisce about 00’a General Manager mode wrestling games, this series is for you, and especially Modern Mania GM. 80s Mania and original Modern Mania were amazing installments, culminating in GM, which brings the best of both games together while adding a seemingly endless amount of new features, new cards and an all new animation system for matches.
As a huge wresting fan, I truly believe this is a 5 star game for wrestling fans. I can not sing it’s praises enough.

Great Game, Great Support
This game is great, it’s a perfect wrestling booker/simulation game that combines realistic storylines and fights with a lot of creativity. I’ve had one technical issue so far where it wasn’t recognizing an achievement I had unlocked, but when I contacted support they got in touch with me quickly and made sure the issue was resolved

Not ready to switch
Checked out the new game, took longer for me to set stuff up, even with the quick add stuff, I’m just not that kinda guy. Sticking to the old game for now, will check this out again when I rack up more coins/bucks and hopefully it’ll actually let me reassign my champions, or at least transfer my current ones over, because they wouldn’t let me pay the 5000 bucks for more than one. Best of luck, I love all these games, including the 80s gimmick

There’s not a lot of engaging wrestling games on the App Store but this one manages to be one of the better ones.
The most recent update as of this review (the hotspot overview) is a great improvement and seems to make it easier to understand the system and get better rated shows when you’re trying.
It’s also far easier to gain characters and their alts so that you have more feuds, tag teams, and faction members.
One of the better additions is the quick add when making a match and I do find the wrestling match animations charming in their own way.

New favorite mobile game
Try it out! Love how they save title history and career stats for every fighter! Don’t see myself getting bored of this one for a WHILE, favorite mobile game since Retro Bowl! BTW if the developers see this and ever need more music for the game, you guys let me know, I make mobile game instrumentals

Almost perfect
The only real problem I have with this game is how bad the shop rotation is. I get not giving us the best of the best all the time but it’s the same 4 to 5 characters and their 4 Alts. Half the alts don’t even have tag teams/ fueds built in so it’s just a waste. It’s gotten to where I’m spending 180k in game money a day on 9 variants of people I’ll never use in hopes of getting someone useful.
