So close
I was so excited to get this and have been using it for months. Overall the concept is great, the display is bright, battery life is amazing. Where it struggles is in what actually can be displayed. The presets are good, some of the gifs are funny. But some are NEVER going to be used. And while it is cool to create your own, this MUST be improved on as others have noted. The fact that I can ONLY seem tod do this on my phone is highly frustrating. Importing images as others have said doesn’t work well at all, even when I tried making them on pixel art. There has to be a better way to incorporate outside creation. If this gets figured out, this is would be the coolest product out there.

Good start
I’m really excited and happy about Mojipic! The unit itself looks amazing and is simple to install. The app is somewhat intuitive and it only took me 15 to 20 minutes to figure some of the harder parts out. Unfortunately the image creation tool is this apps Achilles’ heel! It’s extremely difficult to design and create images with the tool. It needs a zoom in function so you can get to the specific pixel you need. It needs undo and redo. And just forget about importing pictures from the your camera roll or Internet all together. There’s no image wizard that helps redefine an image’s clarity. An imported image ends up looking like a blurred mess. There’s no simple text scroll feature. You would think a simple sentence mode would exist from the start, that would scroll a users text across the device but it’s a missing feature. I know this is the first couple iterations of this app but these are the things they need to incorporate especially a better image editor!!!!!!!!!!

Good concept, difficult to use
I got this thing over a year ago and thought it would be pretty cool to display messages through the rear window. At first I thought it would be pretty straightforward but after playing with it awhile I decided it was not very user friendly.
I picked it up again today, was able to configure it to display a message and was pretty happy about that. I don’t, however, see a way to power on the display from my phone. If I keep it plugged in to the 12v outlet in the back seat it should power up whenI start the vehicle and the display should light up - or at least it should allow me to connect to it from my phone and power up the display. The only way to get the display to light up is to manually hit the power button which means I have to crawl into the back seat before I go anywhere and turn on the power. Maybe future firmware updates will allow remote power up.

Battery struggles and Siri CarPlay = no voice
I’ve struggle getting the device to work and charge correctly. Finally was able to get it to charge but the battery level indicator on the app doesn’t tell me the levels. Not sure if the cig lighter cord is failing as it eventually dies in the car (I’ve tested the outlet). I bring it inside to charge but does eventually.
CarPlay issues. I’ve was excited that the Siri voice commands worked when I set it up. Unfortunately once it’s connected to CarPlay, it rejects the commands from the app and won’t work while driving. Looked into this extensively but no solution I’ve found. I have to keep the app open to change the visuals. Which is not the safest while driving.
Overall I still love the idea and wish it was a more reliable solution. I think I have a slightly defective device. I contacted the support team but they kept giving me troubleshooting run arounds, which didn’t solve my issues. I was hoping for a replacement, I’d be happy to exchange it but never offered that.

Needs just a bit more
Such a great experience using the app but needs way more art or gifs maybe make a tab specifically for art or emojis uploaded by creators so we are not just stuck with the in app gifs that can be pretty boring after a while. Being able to create your own is cool and all but just some of us are just too lazy and would rather download someone else’s. Thank you

So Far So Good
I was one of their first backers and waited patiently until now (May 29) and finally got the device. It is very well built and the LEDs are MORE than enough bright! The app has a lot of promise. The UI is very clean. Buttons and animations are very smooth and do not stutter.
My MojiPic was instantly recognized by the app - great job with the Bluetooth 4.0!
Uploading my own photos and designs was super easy and took about 4-5 seconds (or less) per design.
Hopefully, in the future, they can introduce even more features! But the app itself right now is a very solid build.
Overall, the app works as intended and looks very good. The product is sturdy and the mounting mechanism is very stable. I have yet to test the battery life, as I use it mostly plugged in.
My use case right now is as a sign/light/decoration in my home’s minibar area. (I was going to use it in my car but alas, I’m not currently driving much anywhere).

Cool app
Well after waiting to get the Mojipic from the team. It was cool to watch the design product to finish product. The app is working great sending the pics to the screen is easy and a breeze. Designing your own is just as easy. I do recommend remember you do have to purchase the screen for this app to work.
I do wanna play around and see what else I can do with this app making designs.

Great idea
The product is a great idea but it’s not without it’s issue’s and the issues are Bluetooth connection, it doesn’t connect half the time and you have to Manually turn it on and also the other issue is it stopped turning on not sure why but this thing should come with a 3 yr warranty and or extended warranty option for the money it cost’s to buy one it shouldn’t be problem but it definitely need’s upgrading and yet how many years this has been on the market it still has no updates!!

Potential but not ready
First of the biggest thing needed is a GIF import. This is lacking the ability to import gif images and is the biggest downfall of this product. Yes you can make your own but being able to download gif files and make your own images would make this product shine.
Have mentioned this suggestion to the developers several times and they still haven’t updated this feature in over a year. They need to follow Divoom product app and take some of those features. Until then can’t recommend this

Finally here! A+
Finally arrived! So far very happy, the emoji’s are good, they even have Apple emojis, which I would rather have college football. The design is great for future expansion! I see an editor in the future, hope that the emojis stay free! The editor is a little difficult, not surprising for how new. Only one thing I would change is the suction cup quality, it does keep slipping
