I paid for an annual subscription, confirm my account using my phone number and see that someone else is using my account. What is going on?

Very little options to choose from
I have used this app a couple of years ago and I loved it because then we were able to choose whatever backgrounds we wanted (without paying/vip membership/subscriptions). I have just came back to using this app again, and so many things has changed. It’s pretty overwhelming honestly, since most options were gone or limited.
Back then we were able to have more edits for our avatars faces, such as choosing brow shapes and mouths. There were also way more hair and accessories options to choose from than now. These updates are quite upsetting. What happened to all the background categories? It’s annoying to have to keep pressing the button to refresh new backgrounds that aren’t even what we want to look for. I don’t mind the adds for “vip” backgrounds, but sometimes it can be annoying.
I do see that there is a search option available, but it doesn’t show me all the backgrounds that I am looking for. I don’t mind subscribing, but it’s like everything is gone now. I won’t be keeping this app on my phone for long.

Used to be good, now its abandonded-ware
This App used to be very fun and wonderful. Now it is just an Advertising faucet feeding the money grub developers.
The current fees model is obnoxious and detrimental to this App’s well being. No way do these workflow disturbing ads justify the minimal incremental content updates from this developer.
I am truly disappointed with what the developers have done to it. They think by throwing workflow disturbing ads will make the user purchase the VIP pass by blocking their view with a forced Ad, but sadly It is more like abandoned-ware App is limping by that is mostly updated by the social users posting their creations and NOT the content from the developers.
You had a true creative concept at the beginning many many years ago, waaaay before Emojis, but somehow it has ran out of gas. Imagine the user can use their backend engine algorithms to create wonderful Emojis for iOS usage across the board! Throwing you a bone, developers! Get the hint ??
Figure out how to incorporate your concept to make Emojis! Make full use of what you have created and push the envelope and people will buy the VIP pass. Don’t regurgitate the same stuff over and over year after year and block the screen with a forced Ad. This is what abandoned-ware is about. This will not win buyers.

No active media contact?
I’ve had MomentCam for a few years now; always had fun with it. Today I saw that there was a limited time 50% off membership - however when I tried to purchase, the sale price would not appear. I then tried to look for support through the company website, their Facebook & Twitter pages- none of which have been active since the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. I can’t take a chance dropping $$ on an app that doesn’t have a company to back it up.

Old version better!!
I had this app for years and the las version was amazing!! But this new version is awful I don’t like it at all. This new version doesn’t have a lot of option like before. The other version let you pick from the beginning if you want it the more natural face or the cartoon one a this version doesn’t have the options is very limited!! I don like it!! Change it please I don’t like my avatars with this new version!! I’m not using this app until it goes back the way it was!! It was great before this version. Please change it!!!!

Terrible
I used to like this app, and now I opened it to find some new pictures and all of my personal avatars have been changed - everything, hair color, my husband now has a beard and didn’t have one before, the whole thing has changed. I don’t understand why the company would do that, but I am very unhappy. Not only that, they make it impossible to contact them directly for support. Don’t spend the money for this. They’ve changed.

Why eliminate the uncolored caricatures?
I love MomentCam and am thankful for their constant upgrades. Unfortunately I don’t understand why they had to eliminate for me what was the best feature of the app - the uncolored drawings. They were more expressive and fun to look at! It’s so frustrating they have options of caricatures and yet it’s the same thing over and over. Sometimes we just don’t want color! We want it black and white! Pls

I would give it a 5 star ONLY if I can create AND SAVE more than 7 avatars. It nas 4 default avatars which cannot be deleted. But I want to save waaay more than 7 avatars. It is quite an effort to create an avatar that’s why I want to save I ones I have perfected. Developers, please increase the number of SAVED avatars.

Ignored refund request
I downloaded the app and entered my payment information, but it was very quickly apparent the app was not going to work for what I needed it for so I tried to cancel. I had already been charged even though there was a 3 day free trial period. I emailed, received one response and now I’m being ignored.
