Good, could use some more features
I’ve been using Momus for a while to convert content posted on Facebook for Instagram, and it does the job perfectly — purchased no watermark and multiple picture expansions. That being said, I would gladly pay $2.99 for an expansion that allowed the same captioning feature but over a video. Video content is becoming increasingly popular esp. with the growth of Tiktok and it’s currently hard to caption them.

Your new favorite meme app
I’ve tried several meme apps over the last few years but none of them have made me WANT to use a meme app like Momus. With Momus I’ve been able to stay creative and consistent because I genuinely enjoy using the app. I saw some people say the app “needs more” but the simplicity of the app is what makes it great. I like pulling into a CVS parking lot when I have an idea and busting out a meme in 2 minutes because I’m not distracted by 1000 font options and editing tools. I also like consistency with how my memes look and this keeps my ig account pleasing to the eye. Other app settings refresh every time you open the app meaning you have to mess with the font size, the justification, etc.
I’d love to see video capability and text overlay in the next update. Trending images could be helpful as well but hey, you’re holding a phone.. just use google 😉

Great App, but can do more
The app is fantastic, I no longer have to spend 5-10 minutes on google looking for a certain pic and downloading all these photo apps to make a meme. Momus simplifies making fun memes for your friends and your meme account. I think the app is super useful and time saving BIG TIME. But I think you can add more photos to the selection that Momus provides. If you add a little more photos during a major update, that would be fantastic! Overall great app and I strongly suggest you download if you want to make good quality memes and save time!

The best part of my phone
I have always enjoyed humor in all shapes and forms. I downloaded the app the day of the launch to pass time at work, I had no idea what I was getting into. Within seconds of opening the app I was howling laughing at the jokes I could make on friends, family members, situations, etc. now I have a way to express my humor without feeling like it can be manipulated or misunderstood. I am very happy with the app and can’t wait to see what’s next.

MOMUS - A One Stop Shop For Meme Magic
Dude I love MOMUS! I tried to start a meme page last year and it fizzled out. I read Adam’s article “7 steps to becoming a meme lord” in NYE and was inspired to pick it up again. I made myself a photo shop template and got at it. MOMUS takes the time and complexity out of my ability to make a meme. I can shoot from the hip now the moment I’m inspired, rather than text myself the idea and do it when I get home from work. Keep rocking’ the hurricane and stay wavvvvy 🤙🏻👊🏻🤟🏻

Overall good app
This app is great for quick getting an idea out when you don’t have time to get onto photoshop. I post two memes a day to my meme page and Ive used this app several times for it. One of the things that I wish was possible though was moving the text and cropping the images. I feel that the text placement is always a little smaller and squished than how I usually make them in ps.

The watermarks are not the best if your brand is a small, somewhat less noticeable mark. But everything else works. If the text bugs out on your iOS, change something and try again. So much fun and also a challenge: not every meme page is star-quality but that’s alright. Don’t sweat it and try and just focus on being creative.

What I like about this app is the clean typography and the simplicity to use. The edit options are right there in front of you for adjusting your work. You can make new content in under a minute. From your brain to your camera roll to internet in seconds. This app has changed the game for content creation!! 👊👊👊

Great for all meme lovers
Beware this app will make you spam your friends or loved one with handmade memes. The best meme format, with current meme trends to chose from, you can even upload your own pictures! I would recommend this but my boyfriend probably wouldn't after how many memes I've made from him!!! Definitely worth the phone space.

Really good
I’ve been wanting to make some memes for a long time and this is the only app that has a one time purchase to get rid of the watermark. I also love the interface and how easy it is to use. One complaint I do have is I wish you could update the templates more often.
