Moon is a perfect resource to help you learn about the moon. Moon constantly updates a panel of information that tells you everything you want to know about the moon.

As many of you have noticed, iOS 5 is now a requirement for this and all further updates. This is due to some major new features in iOS 5 that have allowed and will continue to allow great Moon+ updates that are simply not possible with iOS 4. Look forward to new and exciting things in the future.
In order to upgrade to iOS 5, you simply need to plug your device into iTunes and select "Check for Update". It is highly recommended that you do so.

Just OK
Provides all the basic information most people would want but nothing special included. For example it tells you what day a full moon is but not the time. It shows the phases for the next few days but not weeks or the month. I did find it reliable.

Almost Perfect
I love this app! It provides several forms of information, such as the current moon phase, the phases of the week, the coming up new and full moons, etc. It sends alerts when the full or new moon are approaching, and you can set different locations. My only issue is that it recently began crashing. It doesn't even load before it crashes and I have to reinstall it. Please fix this! Other than that, I would definitely recommend this app.

Good app
It is a good app. It shows the moon exposure of the entire week. It also displays the type of moon, such as Waning Gibbous. It also shows us the distance from earth and the angle in which moon gazers have to raise their heads in order to see the moon. Dates for the last quarter, new moon, first quarter, lunar eclipse, and full moon are also listed. I like this app very much.

I love this app!!
I love this app! I can check to see when the next full moon will be and even go day by day if I want to. The great thing that I especially like is that you can change the date and see what phase the moon was in at any given time. I was born during a full moon! I never knew that! :D

I love this app! It's simple, gorgeous to look at, no ads, and it's fun to look up moon phases on any date you want. I also love the push notifications. There's not a lot of them, so it's never obnoxious, but every time I get one it's like I'm getting a text FROM THE MOON. That's basically the best thing ever!

Should be removed from the app store, as it is no longer being maintained (last update 7+ years ago). I enjoyed it while it was around.

Good info right where you want it
I like this app. Only complaint is that to upgrade to Moon Plus, is not worth it. Moon Plus and Moon are two VERY different apps. Moon Plus has not been upgraded in over a year and it is not worth the price to upgrade for an inferior app. Deal with the ads.

Intermittant and stupid...
I use this regularly for my fishing trips.
This month, it stopped working. I select the icon, the screen goes black and returns to the place the icon lives. Been this way over a week, and developers seem to not give a hoot about it.
I attempted to contact support, and get dumped into some apple setup screen for iCloud. As I'm already on iClout, that is seriously stupid.

This app has potential, but has an annoying glitch.
This app has potential, but after you set it the first time and try to open it again it keeps crashing on you. If you want to use it you've to reinstall it, but the glitch happens all over again. I'm afraid of buying the one that cost $0.99 because I'm not sure if this glitch is going to happen on that one too.

Very accurate data in the app. It tells great information about the moon. I like the unlimited choices of when the next full moon will be. Very nostalgic. :)
