Moon VR Player Hack 2.3.1 + Redeem Codes

I would have given 5 stars if it had supported mkv files. Please add this feature so that we can easily play our video files without being forced to convert them to MP4. I know it will cost you to add the feature but we are ready to pay for the app.

Awesome job guys. Tried every app and this one actually supports 4K for iOS! Having minor issues though videos keep playing when I hit the pause button. Other than that it’s great. If you guys could fix that and add a way to hide the controls or place them somewhere else it’d be perfect. Gets slightly annoying seeing a circle when a fx start happening near the bottom of the screen. Recommend dl for anyone hesitant

This is more of a response to a negative review about the app not supporting MKV files. iPhone does not support MKV files, so there is nothing the developer can do about it. Send your complaint to Apple instead please. At least give the developer the rating they deserve.

One of my biggest struggles since switching back to iOS from Android has been finding an app to handle streaming from my home network to my phone. There are several iOS apps that can handle this, but every single one of them insists on doing on-the-fly conversion of the video files, even for those video files that are natively supported by iOS. Moon VR Player is the only free desktop to iOS streaming program that doesn't immediately try to convert the file before streaming.

But while it does this perfectly, everything outside of the VR functionality is completely lacking. For one, the connection between the app and host comptuer drops constantly when not streaming; while that's at least some consolation, it makes browsing for media to stream incredibly difficult, as suddenly the two cannot communicate anymore. I've tested this on two seperate iOS devices with the same results.

The built-in video player (when not using VR) is about as basic a player as you can get: the UI is literally only a play button and seekbar; no volume control, no settings, and zero subtitle support, along no support for remembering playback position. The non-VR UI seems to have an auto-hide feature that is set to hide at random, and iOS doesn't seem to recognize that this app is playing a video, because the screen still times out and goes dark even while the media is playing. The strange thing is that all this functionality is built into the app, but only enabled when watching via VR.

The UI outside the video player isn't fairing much better, as there are no on-screen back buttons to show you how to back out of a directory you're browsing. It took five minutes of randombly double-tapping areas on the screen to find you have to double-tap somewhere along the top-left corner to get out of a directory.

Has potential, but needs a ton of work to become a regular-use app.

Clunky user interface that "pushes" information you cannot turn off. No control over background image start screen. Drifting screen while viewing videos.
Have switched to another app. Waited for them to fix this but 2 updates later nothing. Will switch to another app.

I tried too many be video app in my iPhone X but this is the best one.
Help them update their app and rate them accordingly. Keep up the good work guys.
