Toddler loves it
My toddler loves when we read moonlite stories before bedtime. Once in awhile the app would have issues where the light would keep shutting off (app issue, not my phone/camera light). But it’s generally ok. If you upgrade your iPhone, delete the moonlite app and reinstall it again. It will re-align the projector positioning to your new phone. I had to do the same for my iPhone 12 pro since it wasn’t aligned at first but now it’s fine. There’s some typos that need to be fixed (spaces between letters in words right before the sound effect words) but that’s just a minor compliant. My biggest issue is probably the projector itself as I don’t feel they last long, the foam padding around the lens area of mine is already smushed and distorted and I will need a new one. I feel they could do better for the quality on the projectors at least. But since my toddler enjoys it, I’ll rate this 4/5.

Easy to use and the kids really like it
It does what you would expect to do and it works fairly well. There used to be an issue where the app occasionally crashed mid story, but it’s been awhile since that has happened so maybe that’s been fixed in more recent versions.
However, I’m a bit irritated that now at the end of a story it recommends another story in the shop. Before it used to just say “The End” and the recommendation was a option that you can turn on or off. Now I can’t find a way to turn it off. I just want to end a story without my kid seeing the next story and asking what that one is about.

What a godsend!!!
I would rate this app and device 100 stars if I could!! Gone are the nights where my 1 year old threw tantrums at night, and I struggled to get him to fall asleep. Now we both enjoy a peaceful bedtime story together and he falls asleep in record time. Between the lights being off, the soothing music from the app, and the fun pictures he can focus on it creates a peaceful environment. I only need to read the story twice and he’s ready to sleep without throwing any tantrums!!!

The only suggestion I have is making the clamp on the device tighter. It easily moves when turning the reel.

Great customer service
My almost 5-year-old has loved Moonlite stories ever since I introduced them to her a couple years ago. Recently I bought some more stories for her, and the unlock codes weren’t working, so I left a message with customer service through the app. The customer service team replied to me first thing Monday morning asking for more information so they could help me solve the problem. We figured it out and got the stories to unlock, and now my little girl can enjoy her favorite thing again. Another time my projector focus got stuck, and they sent me a new one! Excellent customer service on a really fun product. I’ve recommended to so many friends!

Great customer support
Got it as a gift and first story I tried to activate kept showing error, was unable to activate and said to contact them via email. Frustrated, I almost dismissed the product entirely because the thought of emailing for customer support seemed it would take a day or two to resolve. But they were surprisingly quick to respond and helped resolve my issue in matter of minutes. As for the product itself, it’s a fantastic idea and any kid would enjoy this. If there’s any take away from this review, just know you won’t have to be concerned about product and customer support.

Cool story time
Just started using this, my daughter (4yrs) likes it so far and gets excited with the sound effects. However she also is handys and wants to turn the reel herself which then misaligns the projector. I think there should be an option to show the “align projector to here option” wherever you are in the book rather than just the beginning so it would be easier to realign mid story.
The other app update that would be nice is a “read to me option” in the future, if kids would like to use the app on their own and need the assist with learning to read that would be great!

Best Product Ever!!!
When I was a young child, I loved reading. I promised myself to try my best to have my son be an active reader. I’m so glad I saw this in store and gave it a try. I can’t help myself from ordering more stories! He has such great focus and attention when reading these stories!!! Best way to end our bedtime routine by bonding and seeing such beautiful images of our favorite characters. Absolutely would recommend to anyone at any age!

Great product and very responsive customer service!!
I just wanted to say this is a great idea for young kids as a bedtime routine. It gives a different way of reading books that is fun and interactive for the kids. We had some problems with getting the story that came with the disc, but when I emailed customer service they got back to me right away and fixed the problem immediately. They were great!!

All issues fixed finally!
There were some issues working with iPhone 11 Pro with the 3 lens camera. Now it works as it should and story time with my grandson is possible again. The projector alignment is not perfect on the phone and can easily go awry but if you’re mindful of that while turning the reel it should help quite a bit. Thankfully I had an old iPhone to use untill the problem was fixed!

We love it despite the quirks
Yes, we have to align it, yes, it takes two hands at times, and yes it isn’t perfect.
My kids love it and so do the older kids in our life. It’s a fun way to turn the lights down and cuddle and read a story together. The kids that are reading age love to use it too. It is a good way to encourage reading and we enjoy making hand puppets and pointing to things on the wall/ceiling. We just adjust to make it work with our story time and night time routine.
