Great app, incredible support team
My husband and I have tried to learn French from other apps and we were never successful. But this app is so innovative and has so much content we believe we might actually accomplish learning the language. The free app is excellent but the Premium version takes it to a whole other level. My husband got it and it has worked perfectly. When I set up my account with my Apple fingerprint I did something wrong and I had multiple problems. This had nothing to do with the app it was entirely my fault. The support team was amazing. They sent so many emails to tell me what to try. I am technically challenged and sometimes was able to make it even worse! They were extremely patient and kept working with me until it was fixed. This was over a period of time and took 20 emails. So patient. I love this app and am so thankful I can take full advantage of all it has to offer. If I could I would give the app 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and the support team 20!

Seventy days of MosaLingua
I gave up on Spanish after years of study. Decided to try Italian,but this time using my ears as much as possible. So far I can understand spoken Italian better than I ever could understand Spanish. I could read Spanish very well at one time. However, when attempting to communicate with a Spanish only speaker, it was just like Mark Twain’s quote, they had no clue how to speak my Spanish. MosaLingua gives the opportunity to use the ear predominantly. The app is beyond belief and I’ve tried many. Including Rosetta,Assamil,and several off brands,for Spanish, they provided intense sleeping opportunities as a beneficial side effect. With MosaLingua, you can go fast enough to stay motivated. We’ll see in one year if I can actually understand Italian movies, if so I’ll circle back to Spanish.

lots of good - but significant deal breakers
This app has tons of info. Clearly they've done their research, and I love many things about it. Their customer service is fantastic.
Unfortunately, after less than a week, I've decided to cancel my free trial though. I'm far enough along to discover a couple of deal breakers. For example, they use partial sentences. Example: "Me gustaría un(a)..." <----- Meaning "I would like a (an)..." This incomplete sentence, with a choice in parentheses, is not what you would ever hear in real life. I learn better from apps that have complete examples, because I can feel my mind engaging and forming a picture of a thing or an event. MosaLingua prevents that. Trying to memorize it with no context, just to pass, is NOT how I want to spend my time. It would never stick in the long run.
Also, after just one exposure to a phrase with zero familiar words, such as "Podría ayudarme", they mixed up the letters and wanted me to arrange them into the phrase. How can I possibly do that after only one exposure? I haven't even learned the words yet. How can I arrange something like this ---> "dymdaProeraíua <--- when I haven't even learned the phrase yet? Zero effectiveness as a true teaching tool.
I feel terrible. So much great bonus content, spoken by people in the regional voices that are of interest to me (including Castilian voices). Can only get to it by doing the ineffective lessons though. So I have to let this one go. This is such a loss.
Unfortunately, after less than a week, I've decided to cancel my free trial though. I'm far enough along to discover a couple of deal breakers. For example, they use partial sentences. Example: "Me gustaría un(a)..." <----- Meaning "I would like a (an)..." This incomplete sentence, with a choice in parentheses, is not what you would ever hear in real life. I learn better from apps that have complete examples, because I can feel my mind engaging and forming a picture of a thing or an event. MosaLingua prevents that. Trying to memorize it with no context, just to pass, is NOT how I want to spend my time. It would never stick in the long run.
Also, after just one exposure to a phrase with zero familiar words, such as "Podría ayudarme", they mixed up the letters and wanted me to arrange them into the phrase. How can I possibly do that after only one exposure? I haven't even learned the words yet. How can I arrange something like this ---> "dymdaProeraíua <--- when I haven't even learned the phrase yet? Zero effectiveness as a true teaching tool.

Exceptional customer care
I had installed MosaLingua Spanish on two devices and then deleted it from one device a year ago. This week when I tried to install it again on my phone, it showed up as a new app for purchase. As it was working on my other device, I reached out to the MosaLingua team and they provided immediate assistance and helped me to fix my issue. Their the turnaround time has been within 24 hours and I’m delighted with their clear instructions and resolution. I already liked the app and can only say good things about it and the team that created it :) thanks very much!

More helpful than mere vocab drills
The drilling of phrases along with vocabulary is a more challenging and thus helpful feature. But the software is buggy, the interface is cumbersome and ugly, and the refusal to pronounce plurals is infuriating— they are so frequently irregular in German and it would take a split second for the readers to read them. So I spend a lot of time editing the cards, removing parentheses and useless HTML markup and opting for the computer voice and clicking through confirmation windows so that I can hear the plurals. Just baffling and a waste of time. But still I spend hours a day with the app for both German and Italian—the benefits, and the price, outweigh the irritations.
Italian readers are so much better than the Germans—one woman sounds like she’s spitting into the mic while addressing a brain-damaged and deaf five year old.

The best way to learn languages
I’ve been studying languages for years and this is the best method I’ve found. It’s shocking that so many other methods can cost hundreds of dollars and yet Mosalingua still outclasses all of them. I love that is has good pronunciation and encourages you to learn the pronunciation. I love the system of grading yourself and it’s algorithm for reintroducing the words you were weak on. I love that it also helps you learn to spell and write correctly. And finally, it has a massive amount of content for an amazing price. I recommend Mosalingua’s apps to all my friends who want to study a language. I just wish they had a Mandarin course.

GREAT for new or refresher
I took Spanish from 7th grade through university so I have a great foundation. BUT there are differences between Spain-spainish and Central/South American Spanish. This app is introducing me to new ways of speaking in BOTH settings which I LOVE. Many native Spanish speakers can’t figure out ‘where’ I’m from because I can utilize so many different words which are unique to different cultures. It helps me professionally as well as personally. I can speak with most native Spanish speakers and not feel confused because of different colloquialisms. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 5-Hearts because I love it so much. And if I want to switch to Portuguese or French or German, I can! It’s all in ONE APP 💪🏼

MosaLingua is the way to go. Don’t waste your time on that other app that is on trend. I love the way MosaLingua takes care of their students. They are always giving me new advice and ideas on how to achieve my goals. They are serious language lovers who are in the game because they’re passionate about languages, not because they want to sell something. Forget the gameified cartoons, MosaLingua is a community of language lovers! So glad I discovered them!

Excellent way to enhance language learning!
I’m in the process of learning French, and this app has been a pleasure to use- and addictive! Learning a language is difficult enough but this app makes it fun and you get results. The handsfree mode flash cards are especially effective. I couldn’t build my vocabulary enough before. I failed to memorize enough words or phrases no matter what I did. This works! I was surprised to find that I can remember permanently words that I kept forgetting. Vocabulary building is essential.
There are still some very minor mechanical glitches, but nothing to make be abandon Mosa. It’s been wonderful !

It’s highlighting areas of learning I didn’t know were weak
I’ve been trying to learn Italian for years, but it’s difficult when you’re not immersed. MosaLingua is the first app that I find invokes the feeling of being engaged with the language, specifically where you are asked to SPEAK it. I especially like the Hands-free and the ability to Make new flash cards, although I’m still not sure how to engage all the ways to make the flash cards do what I want them to. I’m almost ready to begin lessons with a live tutor.
