Description
- WHAT IS MOTION -
Motion app is the cornerstone of the Motion Mobility Platform. Our platform and app help cities and employers across Europe and North America to launch mobility or commuter programs in order to encourage and incentivize physical activity and the use of cleaner mobility options.
- WHAT IS IT FOR? -
Motion app allows you to keep track of all your activities: walks, runs, bike rides, and more — all automatically (but also manually if that is your preference); and lets you join mobility programs organized by your employer or city. It's like an activity journal; we automatically detect, categorize and keep a record of all of your activities. We use the data collected by the app to provide you with financial rewards, in the form of giftcards or virtual debit cards (cash), which are part of these programs.
- FEATURES -
- Smart algorithm that allows highly accurate all-types mode detection
- Automatic detection and recording of walking, running, cycling, and vehicles - no start button required!
- Manual tracking option if that's your preference.
- Daily data summaries of your activities: trips, distance, and time spent moving
- Join mobility programs that allow you to earn financial rewards in the form of giftcards or virtual debit cards (cash).
- WHAT DO YOU REALLY DO WITH OUR DATA? -
We are aware of how important privacy is for you. We do not sell or share any personally identifiable data with third parties, except in some occasions when you join one of our mobility programs where we might share your name, email, and amount of your activities, so the program can provide you with the rewards offered (please check our Privacy Policy link below).
- BATTERY USE -
If automatic tracking mode is enabled, Motion is only awake and using GPS when you are active and moving. If you are inactive in a small area like your home or job, Motion stays in low-power mode. On a typical day of two to three hours of travel, the impact should be below 4%. However, longer trips, all together (for example a long hikes, bike rides, or car rides) may consume between 4% and 8%; or more, depending on the activity of your day.
