MountieApp Hack 5.5 + Redeem Codes

It is not the most attractive, fluid nor responsive app, but I found it to be useful and used it more often than I had expected. It’s been in need of an update for several months now, since it is in no way compatible with iOS 11.

I’ve seen better apps for K-12 schools and I’m sure there are students at SAC that could improve the app. You can still find the app being advertised via the Mt. SAC website with the link that leads to the App Store, but there seems to be no attempt to upgrade it. This is very disappointing. SAC is large & forever expanding, both in capacity, capabilities and technology, but, for whatever reason, I don’t think this app is a priority. That is unfortunate.

I see where this going and what can do. We need more control overall in app like have access to everything this app have offers and other community college cross states have better app, service and more great features. Who ever developed this app need to look other community college apps and see what missing and what other app have features that this does not have so can make this app better plus add features that we can do through website build it into this app then be very useful and having great service and features then more students will download this app.

The App is great for things like viewing your schedule and paying fees. It’s super convenient being able to access everything in one place. You’re also able to Add/Drop classes through the app and there’s also a tab that lets you access Canvas , which is really helpful . I especially recommend the Map feature and calendar of events for new students, It’s a large college and I wish I had something like this when I was first getting to know the campus. So far I haven’t had any problems with the app. I recommend giving it a try !

Compared to the first prototypes, this is so much more smoother and pleasing to the eye! Everything you need is there, and the maps is going to definable be helpful to newcomers. I would recommend having a pop-up saying “You will be redirected to Safari” in the Admissions tab, just to let people know its not through the actual app. Also, the login to be in huge letters in the front/home page for older people to see better and navigate easier

Fast access to my class schedule makes it really easy for me to keep track of my daily tasks of where to go. Easy to access other important features such as dropping or adding classes and paying fees. Just a little inconvenient to have pop up pages on safari when accessing some of the features. Other than that, the app is greatly built for students to use.

I really enjoy using the Mt. Sac app for looking up my class schedule . I would print it out before, but now I usually just log in and screen shot my class schedule. The app also now lets you register and add courses. The map feature is also useful for when you need to find a building to get to your class or any new students having trouble locating a building .

The app seems mostly useful. The map of campus is fantastic and the course list is also a good feature. A lot of the content is not in the app so you’re just redirected to the website which doesn’t work well on a phone. Having a course catalog search in the app would be much better than redirecting to the website.

The app has a similar look and feel to the desktop website which makes it easy to use if you’re used to going on a computer to access your student account. I like how you can add/drop classes on the app which is very convenient when you’re not able to use a computer but you have your phone on you.

The app makes it SO MUCH easier to access a lot of the features offered in the website. I definitely see room for improvement, but i can’t see myself not having the app now
. Adding and dropping classes just got so much easier specially around the beginning of the semester and looking up your schedule on the go in another cool thing!

The look and usability of this new app is amazing. I am graduating this year and I wish this app was upgraded when I first started at Mt. SAC, it would have made my life easier. I used it only for the map but now it has many usable features. Thank you Mt. SAC for providing a better app.
