Movie Ratings Hack 3.0.4 + Redeem Codes

This should be perfect because these are my top two sources when researching a movie. I didn't have to think twice when buying. BUT it doesn't work as illustrated. The artwork/picture of movie are missing, even when I try their examples i.e. Die Hard. Feels flat and unfinished. Would like to be able to search by ratings and genres.

I was excited to see there was one place you could see IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes ratings so I quickly downloaded it. But not 15 minutes in, I deleted it. Great concept but not current. For example, i looked up the following movies and was amazed by what I found:

Typed in Shaft, the Results didn’t show the movie for this weekend (2019 release more Shaft than you can handle). It pulled up all the old previous release Shaft movies.

Typed in MIB... Men in Black didn’t appear

Typed in Men in Black... all appeared but Men in Black International... I had to type in the whole title for it to come up.

Typed in X-Men... Dark Phoenix didn’t not appear. I had to type Dark Phoenix for it to come up.

The movies that were recently released, scores were not available (N/A). E.g.. Dark Phoenix didn’t have a IMDb score.

I’ll continue to use IMDb and Flixster apps to get the ratings. By using those, I typically find out other knowledge I wasn’t really researching.

Keep up the good work. I know by reading this review, you’ll definitely improve on what you developed.

I get no results in my iPhone 4S and 12 mini.

UPDATE: the day after my original post, the app was fixed, dont know if that was because of my comment or coincidence, but now it works great. thanks for the fix! OP: Huge disappointment! Works only part of the time. quits out mid-program. almost never displays information appropriately. great concept in theory for an app but horrible execution. An update is desperately needed. It will give you the rating from rotten tomatoes and IMDb but that's it. The picture often wont come up or any information about the movie. its hard to tell its the right movie Most of the time. Biggest letdown I've purchased.

This app gives you at-a-glance search-based ratings from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes - which is exactly what you need when browsing at the video store, kiosk or your queue. IMDb is good, but after searching you have to click through then scroll to see the rating, then (!) back to return to search - this app saves you all that extra navigation.

The only thing I'd change would be the size of the listings - a bigger thumbnail and slightly more generous rating result numbers would go a long way to making this a five star app.

I like an App that works exactly as advertised. This is a simple no frills App. You type in the name of a movie (or some key words from the movie name) & all movies with that title or with those key words in its title are listed with their Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb ratings. If you want to learn more you just tap on the Rotten Tomatoes or IMDb symbol and you are taken directly to the relevant page. A good simple App that works exactly as advertised. Five Stars!

This app works great so far. It shows the IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes score on the search page. Clicking a title opens up a description and allows you to go to the IMDB or RT page for that movie. It doesn't allow you to search/sort my genre, rating, or actor. It is a straightforward search for movie to see score, which is exactly what I was wanting.

The UI (user interface) design is the worst I've seen on a functioning app. There are now settings, just a search box.
Once you type your title (cuz it offers no predictive results) your screen is populated with movie title that you better hope are not the same or similar. Otherwise you have to guess which movie is correct because there are no distinguishing information besides ratings. No year, nothing!
The movie poster thumbnails are to small to discern anything but colors and headshots.

I couldn't ask for much more than this app provides. It's simple, straightforward, and extremely useful. The only improvement I'd like to see is the ability to open links in the actual IMDB/Flixter apps. That would be PERFECT. Thank you!
